He has us recycling by our third pick (Obst and Grima at 33 and 49). I'm sure he can find leftovers for you too. ;)

I laughed that he had De Boer (a player who hasn't nominated) at 24.

I laughed even harder to see two Irish players being drafted at 46 and 47, when Irish players are normally just rookie listed outside of draft procedures.

What Chris McDermott secretly wants to see:

That's not a bad list of players considering it was McDermott that did it, and he's also missed out our last draft pick before Walker.

The first 2 - a quality mid-fielder and a player that they say plays rather like Port's Wilson would fit nicely, followed by a KPP and a crumbing forward. His first 4 picks are not too bad at all.

Treeby?? As a WWT supporter I love him at SANFL level, but I really doubt that he has the class and pace for AFL level. I'd pick Bradley up at this stage, but I have no idea what the Criows might be thinking nor are they saying (which is good).

As for the last and missing draft pick in Bones's picks which might be national draft or PSD I'd have a crack at Petrenko here.

Quick, elusive and tough although a bit small - he looks alright.

Certainly not Bones's worst journalistic effort by a long shot - he's capable of far worse. :)

I certainly wouldn't be overly excited with those 2 recycled players he's put down for you though FF.

Im actually pretty happy with those selections for the crows. Ebert and Greenwood with our first two selections would be fantastic.

Although I would remove Treeby at pick 58 and go with a recycled player such as Bradley or Grima.

I cant see anyone else going for Treeby so you could nab him either late in the draft or via the PSD.

I have a mate who really likes Treeby as a player and has thought for the past 2-3 years he might get drafted. But I suspect after a few years of being overlooked, there's something the clubs don't like. Corey Ah Chee suffered a similar lingering fate.

Yeah I'm not thrilled we get the recycleds so quickly - he likes to keep locals here I guess, and goes for a bit of edumucated guesswork. Some of his selections for us last year weren't too inspired.

I'd be a little surprised if Greenwood lasted til 27 let alone 28 ;).

My (realistic) ideal picks:

10 - Brad Ebert
27 - Levi Greenwood/Patrick Vezpremi/Cyril Rioli (last 2 are long shots)
30 - Marlon Motlop
38 - Patrick Dangerfield
59 - Jarrhan Jacky (REALLY liked the look of him at the champs)
71 - Jay van Berlo

Someway you HAVE to slip Taylor Walker in there ;)

I would swap Dangerfield for McNamara, rookie list JVB and pick up Patrenko at 71 (ideally) but really like the looks of that

I think 30 will be an indigenous tall key position forward, not Motlop.

Mcdermot has a bad history of draft predictions, I think ive still got the clippings from the past 2 seasons somewhere.. Wood, Monfries & Eckerman were our 2004 draft picks

You'll have to correct me if i'm wrong, but i think he had us leaving Sellar and picking up Shane Edwards instead with our first pick last year, couldn't believe it, a. that he thought Sellar would last to our pick(although he was right there) and b. that the crows would not pick him up if he were there.
