Very sad, he’s been fighting this for the last few months and unfortunately lost his battle. Thoughts with his family and friends.
From what i was told he still took the time to help Richmond even though he was ill. He had many offers but picked us for growth and was looking fwd to improving our list. I look fwd to see the draftees we bring in.

Was such a positive day. We got the deals done. All the media who reckoned we were being greedy were suddenly applauding and justifying our trades.

Such a good feeling about everything and then Paul Connors says on air that Chris had passed away.

Well, that just flattened the day. Feel so sad for his family and although he’s gone, I feel sad for him; for his legacy. He had the biggest moment of his professional career coming up.

He would have been the centre of attention and had the possibility of being a Richmond hero.

I guess strategy won’t change but he doesn’t get to experience it and his family doesn’t get enjoy it with him. Would have been a proud moment for them all.

Very sad.

Yep he did as much as he could in the circumstances. Both Blair and Francis Jackson have taken a bigger role in the recruiting side of things.
