Nothing wrong with Kade Simpson. Yarran was just a bit overrated at draft camp, but he's still the silky smooth player who can do well in an outside role, ala Kade.

Gibbs went to HB after he failed at midfield too.

Hodge didn't play midfield before going to half-back, it was half-forward/half-back due to OP.
Failed/couldn't cut it, same difference.

Yet voted ahead of Judd in 2010 as a midfielder by the Coaches association and the players.
Also won a bnf at half back, and AA in his fourth season, oh and a Norm Smith in that role as well.
Yarran's a good outside player who's in the side cos he's a better kick than Armfield.
