KetchupSource?
Some of you guys are unbelievable.
We end a legendary coach's contract 1 year early after 17 years and 4 premierships!
...and you are salty about his payout?
You expect to break contracts without paying them out?
What a great way to treat a club legend!
You guys know nothing about values, virtue, honour or loyalty.
You just want it all your own way.
Take a look in the mirror you effin sooks!
Not a bad stat as you bow out.

Clarkos manager may have been one but we were leaking like a siv from every level and seemingly still are based on todays article in the age. Caro has said a number of times that there were a number of sources leaking.Anyone doubting Caro’s source during the Clarko debacle this year only has to listen to her comments tonight. Sadly, Clarko and/ or his manager were hell bent on throwing as much mud as possible. Sad actually but he was always combative and to the end
Yeah well of course she is going to say that, cover her sourceClarkos manager may have been one but we were leaking like a siv from every level and seemingly still are based on todays article in the age. Caro has said a number of times that there were a number of sources leaking.

60k yeah nah, that could only be one source
Study and travel allowanceWhat was the 60k reference?
Wait a second, the club agrees to a full pay out and then after the fact changes its mind when they actually look at what that entails. And it is Clarko's (read Manager) fault for making them stick to the agreement.....really? I'm actually quite impressed with Clarkson's Manager he is making sure his Client is getting maximum return. Although unfortunately at Hawthorn's expense, club needs to learn from its mistakes in contract negotiation and cancellation. So we pay Clarko $1million to sit on his arse and do nothing for a year because he didn’t want to fulfil his contract and now he expects the club to pay him another 60k so he can be a better coach for whatever club decides to blow smoke up his butt and pay him whatever he wants?
Piss off.
The club has shown a lot more class over the last month than Clarko and his manager who continue to use Caro to promote their cause.

That's what happens when you don't get anything for over a decade.God she is a miserable woman
Always amazes me why clubs still insist on giving coaches these big multi year deals.Wait a second, the club agrees to a full pay out and then after the fact changes its mind when they actually look at what that entails. Only reason I can think this is the case is because AFL is still run on hopes and dreams (the norm).Always amazes me why clubs still insist on giving coaches these big multi year deals.
Every single time it ends in a s..t show and costs the club millions of $.
Even for a legend like Clarko I just can't see why you would give more than a 2 to 3 year deal with performance based triggers for subsequent years.
Yeh I think you are on the money.Only reason I can think this is the case is because AFL is still run on hopes and dreams (the norm).
You would think as we become more professional it was catch up, but it’s almost gone in the other direction.
