Interesting. Rail might be more efficient, but how many people are just going to drive instead?
Presumably they've crunched the numbers on X amount of cars vs plane travel over those routes..

Trains just don't offer the flexibility of other transport. Wish they did or the world went balls deep on rail centuries ago to build tracks to allow for two way travel, etc.

Planes could leave at any time and it doesn't matter if there's another plane coming on the reverse trip, but good to hear how it works in Europe. Everywhere should be like that. You can go pretty much everywhere in Europe.
In Australia we have less rail than we had in the past.
Passenger jets aren't that flexible. You can only fly from an airport to an airport.

I know the UK has also less rail than before.

Another Oz invention
Better storage capacity than Li ion batteries. Some developments with this battery near Pt Augusta, although smaller than world wide developments of same battery.
Also a better option for storage from wind turbines.
As the world searches for safe, low-cost big batteries, an old Australian invention is getting new attention
An old Australian trick is becoming a reliable part of the energy transition: so what are flow batteries, and why do they need vanadium?cosmosmagazine.com
^ apparently that is body shaming. I guess Greta must have been right in that case.
Like everybody else... he's an iNfLuEnCeRI don't know or care about what an Andrew Tate is, but it sucks that he's proof that the upcoming generation of people, mostly the male ones, aren't getting any better at a lot of things than the last one, if stains like that end up with a platform.

I mean there's a difference between being a influencer by being lucky enough to be born good looking and wealthy enough to just be able to live off Instagram posts and free stuff from companies, and then being an influence by preaching misogyny and other awful things.Like everybody else... he's an iNfLuEnCeR
This can not be an actual person. Surely the whole thing is acting.
