I've reread my posts, Animal was right. So Sherrif I'm 5x more abusive and a conspiracy theorist as well as a dick, mental case, pathetic etc etc etc. Sorry for being over indulgent with the !, but a million of these? Surely you're exagerating a little? Arcassius likes to be sarcastic and condescending, just read his posts, and not just to me.
As for repeating myself? I responded to a comment that I was a nom de plume, and as such your opinion didn't rate highly with me, silly me using such big words, so I use the term avatar, silly silly me.
Seemingly one of my first posts that attracted the negativity was the refernce that BF & DL were indistinguisable. Must've touched a nerve. OH, and just for good measure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one said your opinion doesn't matter just because you're using a nom de plume.
But when someone pulled you up on your lack of posting history on any topic other than this one you insinuated this might not be your normal account. If you're going to chuck a hissy fit at least have the balls to do it under your usual username or you don't deserve to be taken seriously.
Anyway I don't know why I'm bothering responding to you, sherrif has repeatedly politely requested you explain your position rationally and you've responded every time with a tirade of victim mentality bullshit. No wonder something as inconsequential as a football team moving their training base has you so worked up if that's the mentality you approach life with.
The award for the worst comeback of the year goes to Mr PSH. All I'm doing is trying to get you to debate rather simply abuse people. Never called you pathetic, a dick or a mental case by the way. The venom in what you were saying made me stop and think that you had some issues, so I offered you an olive branch to let it go, but instead you decided to launch into another rant.
Not sure what you mean about DL versus BF. All I said was that there were more people there who supported your view. I then pointed out that one of the people I was referring to, who is the main moderator on the site, a bloke called Shane, also happens to be a person you seem to despise. For the record, I'm not fazed in the slightest if you think the sites are similar.

Yep it's shocking. The lack of foresight by our state government is horrendous as is shown by the freeway extensions. No use extending to 3 lanes when in 5-10 years there will be a need for 4-5 lanes.
Hopefully they make North Lake Road 2-3 lanes and try and get more people using the Berrigan Drive freeway exit/entry as well as extending Beeliar Drive.
Can't agree more.
You do realise by the time we move there, Fyfe will be flying the whole team in on Chinook helicopters.

True story, when Michael Owen played for Liverpool he used to live in a huge mansion in Wales and fly to Liverpool for training every day in a private helicopter.

So having had a chance to think about all this (didn't want to post when it was immediately announced as I would've come across really irrational and angry) I'm honestly a little disappointed and bewildered by the decision.
Unfortunately being from Melbourne, the only way to get any news of sort was from here and any article links posted and there were a couple of points from articles that really caught my eye but also led to puzzling questions
1. What is this rumour about an interest free loan? If true, how much is it exactly? Does this mean that the club isn't debt free like it proclaims?
2. The Freo Mayor accepted that the FCC were out of the running for the ETAF despite not having had the chance to make their final presentation to the FFC board.
a) If this is true, does this mean that the decision was made to move to Cockburn without hearing all available presentations?
b) If it's true that not all available presentations were heard, could it be seen that the FCC weren't given a fair chance to present? Could there be some sort of conflict of interest somewhere or some sort of improper dealing?
I mean, if I were to make a move, I'd want to hear everything possible from both parties before comparing the 2 relevant offers and coming to an informed decision that way. To me, it doesn't seem like the Steves have done that (if the Freo Mayor is telling the truth) and in my mind casts a little doubt.
3. I believe in the past, the AFL have tipped big money into projects involving other clubs, why, when they come to us, do they only offer to fund $1 million? Should we not be pushing for more money from the AFL to fund this project?
4. How much is our part of the facility going to actually cost (heard 2 amounts of $10 million and $25 million)? Do the board have some plan to pay it back or will membership costs go up to pay it back?
I'm not asking these questions to be a conspiracy theorist or anything like that, the fact remains that this place is the only place where such questions can be asked plus it helps me to be informed so I can look at such issues logically as opposed to my ranting and raving of past years (see my meltdown at rebranding and then Harvey Sacking)

I am pretty sure the move to Cockburn was decided on a couple of years ago and they have just been finalising the details. Wasn't Rosich approached by a member approx 2 years ago when the change of colours where first announced and asked not to take Freo out of Freo to which he replied something like "to late" or "better get used to the idea"? Something he bragged about in an interview.
I think it can be summed up by - FCC despite 'not having the chance to make their final presentation' were not even nearly going to offer to build the thing and charge FFC 2c to use it like Cockburn are. Not only this but it had clearly come to light that the facilities Cockburn were proposing clearly dwarfed the facilities FCC were proposing, and for a lot cheaper price for us. That's really what it boils down to, and from a business POV it'd be ridiculously negligent to pass up the figures when they stand like that.
Plus how much of it is FCC covering their own butts for botching the offer?
It has also been reported that the Dockers first started negotiations with Freo Council four years ago. The FCC hadn't even made a sem-formal proposal before we started looking at the Cockburn offer. It seems they had the view that we would stay with them no matter what the cost because of our Freo heritage. That said, I understand why some supporters are sooo disappointed we are leaving Freo as our training base. I really, really hope the board makes good on their promise to keep a strong club pressence in Fremantle.

Yeah, every supporter blaming the club should be putting pressure on the freo council.
North Lake road will divert north of Cockburn Central and an overpass will be built across the Freeway joining up near Tapper/Armadale road thus diverting traffic that doesnt have to go via Gateways. Still a lot more measures to go but this one will hopefully stop that log jam at cnr North Lake/Beeliar.

I live a stone throw and a half from Gateway and it's a freekin' nightmare to get in and out. Logjam describes it to a tee.
Some funny s----t. My two of about three eagles friends. Thank f---k I don't have many of them thought the Gateway/Cockburn area was getting developed for the new staduim not just for Freo. They weren't sold on Burswood. I explained what was actually going on and they looked confused. Funny s---t.
