I re-watched the 2010 GF today. Dawes was so impressive with his knock-ons, his strength, his disposal by foot and hand and his unselfish teamwork. Whatever else he has done, he performed wonderfully on GF day. He played a more pivotal role than Cloke in deciding our fate against St Kilda. Excellent game from the big boy.

He was fantastic that day, the amount of goals he had a hand in, the influence is still underrated I think.

He was our best forward on the day.His presence in the first quarter was huge and his goals were 'special'. It is hard to understand why his game has fallen away.

I'm trying to figure out a way to download the seasons from 2003 - 2009, then upload them to youtube or somewhere friendly so the games are as easy as one click away like the others.
Because the way it is at the moment it's a little annoying, the links don't always prompt and give you the option to open windows media player.
So you have to download a tiny file and then you have to open it with either vlc or windows media player.
Chrome and Firefox don't support mms streams anymore, only Internet Explorer does and we all know nobody uses that.

So be patient for the earlier seasons.
 
Great thread I appreciate the effort. I have decided to watch the 2010 season again. I just finished round 1 the team is vastly different to the grand final side. Will be interesting to see the changes occur during the season. Medhurst for example looked great round one with four goals.

I was about to say exactly the same thing. I took about 3 minutes searching for this thread so I could watch more of the Tiger's game - again. I started with the fourth quarter last night. Every time I see a post of yours I am going to give you a like, unless I thoroughly disagree with you. This thread is a wonderful unselfish task that is of such benefit to supporters. I have to miss next Saturday's game and will probably watch it on here. Thank you for your kind words, it really is no problem, now the layout is pretty much done it's easy to update, takes 2 mins per game.
I just wait for the games to get uploaded, which is usually about 12 hours after, then edit the thread and update the link.

What I would like to do is safeguard the games by downloading them all and uploading them onto youtube or something, just in case things change at Telstra's end, which they have in the past.
Now that would be a monstrous task, might wait for NBN for that.

Maybe just bookmark the thread for now?
