they use us to maximise ratings and attendances - fairness doesn't come into it.
I agree. What I'm interested in though is the club's stance on the AFL's wheelings and dealings.

By way of example, according to reports earlier this season we weren't interested in Opening Round. Now we're locked in for a game on a Sunday against GWS on a ground that has Green Day playing on it less than a week prior.

Our first 6 games this season are incredibly tough, no doubt to maximise commercial revenues. Contrast this with Carlton, who finished a place above us, and the difference is night and day. I haven't heard or read any commentary around our fixture from the club yet, but doubt that anyone will raise the inequality or disparity between teams.

As they know for GWS average Under 20k at Home Games they know that Pies Fans will turn up to watch them us play so they get an Actual Big Crowd

Collingwood’s imminent succession plan for the board and presidency will have to be endorsed by the club’s members in a contested election later this month and in December.

The current board’s designated preferred president, Barry Carp, is being backed by fellow director Renee Roberts and candidates Dan Rosen, a music industry executive, and Gaye Morris, a human resources expert.

The challengers are accountant John Couroyanmis and former Hume City council mayor Casey Nunn.

The Magpies have spots available for four directors out of the seven-member board, which includes dual best and fairest and football director Paul Licuria, ex-player and past players’ president Paul Tuddenham and vice president Jodie Sizer.
“Now, as we look ahead, we seek your continued support to build on these foundations and take Collingwood to even greater heights. Our strategic priorities for the next phase are clear:
“1. Sustained success and winning more men’s and women’s premierships.
“2. Creating the best elite talent programs for our players, coaches, staff, and past players alike.

“3. Continuing to maintain and develop our elite high-performance facilities at the AIA Centre and preserving the legacy and improving the facilities of our spiritual home at Victoria Park.

“4. Enhancing the member experience and ensuring that our great club continues to live by and uphold the values of respect, inclusion, and cultural safety.”

Collingwood are close to finding the club’s next head of football to replace Graham Wright, who has gone to Carlton where he will take over as chief executive from Brian Cook in an orderly handover.

We should be better prepared this year. Got an extra month on last year

Really? This is clearly a case of a publicity seeking dickhead lawyer(remember when he suggested losing game points?) taking advantage of his plaintiff. Who had been sacked for other reasons.

Better call Saul!

It was us (Browne) who said that they wouldn’t settle and intended to see it all the way through to judgement.
Depends what the claimant settled for.

Case of VB and a Macca's voucher, you're taking that in an instant.

You don’t just need to satisfy the counterparty, you also kinda need to satisfy the counterparty’s lawyers.

Lawyers don’t typically accept a split case of VB and half a quarter piounder as payment.

You really shouldn’t use words you dont understand. Twice.

That is primarily were the problem arises however it applies to any material that is subjected to copyright.

Get real. You think publishers - protected by a paywall - don’t want clicks which might tempt the unfulfilled clicker to take up a subscription? Who is directing you guys to post these directives?
