Chief.
Big Footy has been contacted by one of the media groups complaining about copyright breaches.
There used to be an understanding that you could post part of an article, provided you attributed it to the source (via a link).
In recent times there have been full articles posted and I think that’s their issue.
An example may be when someone posts the entire list of a journo’s top 50 draft prospects.
Ironically that's the only way they will be seen or relevant. If anything it's them digging their own graves claiming copyright and sooking that we are discussing their articles. Let's face it next to no one is going to pay a subscription to the Herald Sun again those times are long gone. So to only show a first paragraph sort of thing is really counter intuitive for them. when I see it's a subscription based article I literally just to straight to the next content now I don't even bother reading the topic sentence/their attempted click bait.

Collingwood has had early discussions on a new deal past 2026 with Norm Smith Medallist Bobby Hill as it hopes to secure unrestricted free agent Brayden Maynard next year.
The Pies have secured ex-Saint Tim Membrey on a two-year deal and have decided against offering a deal to former Demons defender Adam Tomlinson.

Reef McInnes will be trialled at full back and in defence across summer, as the Pies attempt to find a new back six option after Nathan Murphy’s retirement.

Collingwood has as many as 20 players out of contract next year but most are veterans with Steele Sidebottom, Mason Cox, Scott Pendlebury, Tom Mitchell, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Jamie Elliott and Brodie Mihocek all on expiring deals.
