Would you even bother after 3 knee injuries and just 2 games (senior AFL?) since 2017?

How about that fat bastard who outpointed Grundy on his VFL return last year? :p

Previously on the Gold Coast list I believe, seems to be a bit of a campaigner, strong and naturally aggressive which I like in my ruck options, just needs to stay off the nose beers and KFC.
Fat Jesus?

Yeah I gave him a lesson he will never forget.
He kept tapping it to his feet where I was waiting to dish it off..

Been off the nose beers for weeks now. Seems like days though..
Why is cocaine referred to as 'nose beers' rather than something more exotic and expensive? Pricewise you couldn't find a greater contrast than cocaine and beer. Cocaine is confined to high income groups and professions while beer is the drink of the common man. Why not 'nose champagne' or 'nose tequila' etc?

Disco Dust? Bolivian Marching Powder?

Disco Dust? Bolivian Marching Powder?
Understandable and appropriate. But beer drinking is so omnipresent, so commonplace, a diversion for the plebs. Discos may well contain bags of the white stuff within their walls, but like gyms, I never feel the urge to enter one. The Bolivian army can march on cocaine because it's available to them by the bucket load. Granted I move in the wrong circles, but if anyone within my vicinity is snorting or talking of doing so, it totally eludes me.

Fraser would be good, I’ve got a bit of interest in the Magpies VFL- anyone know what nights they train?
I didn't get the answer from my connections, but I'm pretty sure VFL clubs train tues and thur nights. Maybe around 6?

Somewhat concerned with Grundy McStay deals…I don’t know how much we’re paying of his contract but it should be close to nothing for what we got! He’s still a top ruck and clearance player…really busts a gut spreading when he’s at his best. I think he’ll be back to his best next year.

McStay again depends what we are paying. To me he’s another Mihocek but not as good…two are better than one but we are still missing a gun proper tall. Hopefully that is Kreuger and we are set!

We are far from a complete list, we could do with more in just about every part of the ground…but with a little luck we should do well next year!

In the one game this year that Mcstay was forced to be first ruck he had 23 touches, 5 marks, 6 tackles, 4 clearances and a goal.

After almost 10 years as a first ruck Grundy averaged 18 touches, 2.5 marks, 3.8 tackles, 5.5 clearances and .3 goals this year.

I think Grundy's influence is vastly overrated and conversely McStay is underrated as he has mostly played the non-flashy roles required of him.
