Can’t see GWS giving up Callaghan for any player on the Hawks list.

We can't trade them pick 36. Against the rules
Pick 36 was originally WBDs. The rule says that we can't trade it directly back to them.

9.7 Further Exchange of Draft Selection
(a) A Club may exchange a Draft selection which it has received from another Club, provided that the selection is not traded directly back to that Club.

So sorry doggies we would love to get shafted by you again this year but the AFL says we can't so take Pick 58 or the PSD.

I recon he's a fair chance to be our best midfielder next year. I see Jack Steele style improvement in him. Diff players tho. 58 would be a Crisp style steal.

That’s the Sydney rule introduced so they could snag Ling and Blakey and I don’t think it’s applicable here.

The Giants have just about a tighter salary cap then us. How can they afford a Mitchell, Gunston, Wingard etc?

North won’t grab Lipinski even if they do have a pick. Thats not going to be an issue.

If it’s later pick equivalents that’s fine. The issue is if we give up an earlier pick we need to few an extra list spot, and we shouldn’t be compromising ourselves like that just to please the dogs.
