Of course, and we would be too if Twomey had come out and said we were leading the race. Wasn't there a different journo saying we looked the most likely? Maybe Barrett, I can't remember. Was a while ago however.
Adelaide: Probably right. Poulter would be a low-cost acquisition.Around the boards Collingwood Focus 19/08:
Adelaide: Want Poulter for a late pick and beleive Frampton is of to us.
Brisbane: Believe we are still into Blake Coleman. McStay to us.
Carlton:
Essendon:
Fremantle:
Geelong: Want Henry and Grundy
Gold Coast:
GWS:
Hawthorn:
Melbourne: Grundy talk.
North:
Power:
Richmond: Bobby Hill to us. Brad Hill (NO!) to us. Fogarty to us. They seem a little obsessed with us.
St Kilda: Want De Goey. Want Grundy if Hill departs.
Sydney:
Bulldogs:
West Coast:
Anyway that what other clubs posters are talking about.
I heard Dustin and Cotchin are going so would be pushing harderIf JDG and Martin both end up leaving, then it will leave both sides looking for similar players and entering a race.
Where's Cotchin going? Geelong?I heard Dustin and Cotchin are going so would be pushing harder

Yep and that’s ok, if we are not paying much for him. Someone on here suggested a trade for Grundy…even at his hefty contract I struggle to see how that is fair.It wasn't long ago that everyone was crying out for state league key defenders, remember schlensog. Frampton is just depth and at 200cm and built like a tank, he fits the bill. Have you seen his SANFL stats
That's not going to happen. Frampton would on minimum chipsYep and that’s ok, if we are not paying much for him. Someone on here suggested a trade for Grundy…even at his hefty contract I struggle to see how that is fair.
Haven’t seen his stats

Cotchin is going to join a mercenary army as a specialist sniper.Where's Cotchin going? Geelong?
He's more injury-prone than Moore. RiskyCarlton have signed Curnow for 6 years on top of next year (takes him through to 32yo)............brave move given his history
Could you imagine Dave lighting up the board with a million red thumbsDon’t blame Chief. Blame our mods. They’re the ones who decided we didn’t deserve the same functions as the rest of BF.
Not to sure where just that there goingWhere's Cotchin going? Geelong?
Owns a good portion of the Port Arlington hotel. Maybe he’s going to play in the BFL.Where's Cotchin going? Geelong?
They've got to be in salary cap trouble and are going to have to give long contracts to reduce the amount per year and also be able to juggle payments around a bit more.Carlton have signed Curnow for 6 years on top of next year (takes him through to 32yo)............brave move given his history

The list management problem says that not all of them can stay unless other senior players are cut or traded.Henry, Poulter, Kelly, McMahon are all 19/22 I hope they all stay.
They are all still sticks at the moment, surely after another preseason they all put on some size and really push for best 22 next year.
Poulter is 194cm and 19, could see him playing both ends as well as midfield. Also could see him playing a Charlie Curnow role (192cm)
Kelly is 194cm just turned 22, I am sure we were unsure about Murphy at first still think he could play important role for us.
McMahon is 198cm and 20, watching him in the VFL he is a real competitor given time could be that SDK/Roughead replacement.
Henry is 189cm and 20, obviously great set of hand which is pretty rare. I think we can all agree he has a high ceiling as a high half forward.
Lots of upside and definitely deserve another few years to develop.
A mate of a mate, who knows someone and happens to have a dog, said there was a delivery of gold lined paper boxes recently to a house that may or may not be anywhere near Charlie’s house. Nothing to see here. They've got to be in salary cap trouble and are going to have to give long contracts to reduce the amount per year and also juggle payments around a bit more.
Agreed, I would imagine it all depends on what happens with Grundy/DeGoey/TarantoThe list management problem says that not all of them can stay unless other senior players are cut or traded.
Poulter and Kelly are most at risk of leaving and Henry is the safest.

I would if I was him. I would have left Monday. What a rabble. Surely Rutten wouldn't stay if he has any self respect for himself, after how the Essendoom board tried to shaft him....
