Tend to agree. Hopefully adding a future second might be enough to get it over the lineWe ain’t getting pick 10 for a medium forward who’s stuck in the vfl, especially if he wants out.

Hill is cousins with Leon Daivs. With Leon and crack on board, we would be purposely trying to get some Indiginous players in. If Hill came to us and settled in well and started playing the sort of footy that I know he can play, it would open the door for more Indigenous players to want to come to us.
well, even better, i think hill will be a gun for usHill is cousins with Leon Daivs.
It’s never ending with the Cats bringing in ready made stars , we need a couple of stars to bring in who don’t like fishing or surfing . Harry. I hear neither of those are your favourite pastime hobbiesIt seems we are destined to be a gutsy, hardworking TEAM as opposed to a side loaded with star talent. It's along time since we have picked up a game changing key forward. Sydney and Geelong have one waiting in the wings every time they need one. Who will walk into Geelong next after Hawkins pulls the pin? Max King? Mckay? It will have something to do with the country lifestyle and family feeling.

Or a Tyson Stengle type? I was a bit annoyed we didn't take the gamble.
What if its pick 1 next year?
Similar butchering kicks.I think he’d be a good replacement for Adams, but Adams isn’t ready to be replaced yet.
They also said Cox is likely to get a new deal (he has one!). So just another list full of fluff IMO.Chugg likely to get a new deal. Surely not.
Hill can pull a mark or goal out of nothing. Brown struggles to hit a player on the chest 30m away. There are times stats don't paint an accurate picture.
You'd pick WHE over AJ???What if we used McStay down back and moved Moore to FF? Would love to see what Moore could do with a full season in the fwd line.

Oops.You'd pick WHE over AJ???
I like your teamsIN: D.McStay, B.Hill, Coll 1st rounder, 2nd rounder (trade multiple 3rds to move up)
OUT: J.Roughead (retired), J.Madgen (delist), C.Brown (delist), I.Chugg (delist)
I may be in the minority here, but i am hoping for a relatively quiet trade period. I think we have a great core and it should just be about adding a couple of pieces and keeping draft picks to continue our list build. This quiet trade period includes keeping Grundy.
In terms of the draft, hopefully we can finally land a promising KPP Forward with our first rounder.
You look over the below and argue about that best 22, but what stands out to me is how many guys in that second 22 are good quality players who can contribute at AFL level. great depth for us moving forward.

Agree.Again, I return to Carmichael. Averaging 2.67 clearances this year despite averaging just over 50% game time. I’m very excited to see what he’ll do with a full preseason under his belt and capacity to hit >70% TOG. He’ll be 23 going into 2023 so already a more mature body.
Even Brown’s ball use is improving. He’s actually been doing a lot of the kicking in since he’s been moved to more time in defence. This argument is becoming a bit like the “Cox can’t kick goals from beyond 40m” argument.

I think they picked him , because no one else wanted him. He was purely a cheap, depth midfield option for themCrazy he picked a side that he was never going to break into.
He's Excess to needs basicly, neat player but nothing specialWhat’s the knock on Poulter since being drafted? Looked a ripper in his first season, gets involved, pretty quick and gets his hands on the ball. Doing alright in the VFL?
Would have thought a 193cm versatile 19 year old would be given a bit more time

Can’t say we’ve seen much versatility so I’d say that’s the main issue. What’s the knock on Poulter since being drafted? Looked a ripper in his first season, gets involved, pretty quick and gets his hands on the ball. Doing alright in the VFL?
