Odd that your allowed to use Kennedy Darling and Cox like a climbing wall. How many frees did they miss in the WC forward half? Loved Harry getting the free for high yet Cox gets pinned for holding the ball.

I think this discrepancy is reasonable enough to suggest you weren't shafted by the umps overall

I very rarely complain about umpiring decisions, but there are many posters in this thread with this sentiment and it can't all be attributed to anti-Collingwood bias.

It isn't the umpires that caused this loss, though - wasting opportunities to build a match-winning lead is a West Coast tradition.

NO They didn't. Check the inside 50's. Collingwood's midfield who were back to their usual front running bludging best bludged their way through 3 qtrs. and just overwhelmed Priddis in the last qtr who was pretty much a one man band. Don't fool yourself Eagles lost it Collingwood never won it. Eagles capatilise on their domination and don't stuff up scoring opportunities time and time again they win comfortably.

We lost 2 key defenders for most of the game, get your hand off it. It was an absolute gutsy win

Pretty funny that the West Coast fans crying about the umpires in here are the same ones defending the umpires to the hilt when they get a dream run at home.

Difference being that people whinge about the umpiring in every single West Coast home game yet not every single away game.

I accept that the Grundy 50 was the incorrect call - but I don't think it is as blatant as people say given that Brown was not really in the contest with Grundy and his fist was nowhere near the ball and came up after Brodie had caught the ball.

And Eagles fans complaining of free's in the last - Cox was very lucky not to give away a 50 when he kept arguing with the umpire after being caught holding the ball. Especially when the Pies gave away a very similar 50 earlier in the game for less mouthing.

Don't fall into them. Let their delusion continue into how good they think their side is and sit back and **** yourself as the rest of the season unfolds. They are ordinary at best. Cloke and his old man make Ronnie Biggs look like a shop lifter pulling off the biggest heist in history with that $800k a year deal. He is deadest embarrassing. Plenty of morons on here have had plenty to say on Franklin and the length and worth of his deal.
