You asked which younger players were injured and then you laugh when I answer. Shows your knowledge on a few of those players you highlighted. A lot of them got games this year or would have if they were not injured. Many won't make it but some will be players.

If Ed Allen, who to me looks a player of promise is half as good as he's dad he'll be good support to daicos.
I still think a full strength Collingwood is the best side in the comp. Their list in incredibly thin though. I think they should retired sidebottom though, but the schultz trade still puzzles me. They had ginnivan, hill and mcreery it was a strength. Now they'll miss petracca.

Richards will leave for further opportunities and will get in a future 2nd or 3rd, but they have few players of any trade value. They should get Peter Wright in trade week for a 3rd and they should look at getting Hobbs too

Ginnivan was a soft player who wanted out and not only wanted to go to a club he loved but also somewhere he’d get free kicks.

They have some other class, they never got a decent run of it this year- probably at least make finals if they had a slightly different bit of injury luck.

Macrae has openly said that he will let other clubs do the developing.

Proof will be in the pudding if they can sustain it or not, it’s worked for Geelong so can’t see why it won’t for Collingwood

Geelong haven’t really had any top draft picks over recent years with pick 7 a couple years back the exception.

Every kid who get drafted can play footy, it’s just surrounding them with the best possible people to help them succeed. (Which is what Geelong has done very well).

Collingwood looking at FA and adding a few kids through the draft each year. You never know, a diamond in the rough sometimes pops out like a Dane Swan with pick 58.
