Will these players step up with the potential shown before injury or will they get back to thier form before injury

C.Cornes-Seems to be a must have and likely to get back to best.

S.Lucas-Was in most sides until the weekend, could be tredrea like and not score well again or could come back fresh....you'll be kicking yourself if he does this and you dont have him.

Cousins-Obvious

Hasleby
Coughlan

Any Others???

Whats the bigger risk, Having these players and having them fail OR missing out on a potential gimme player like a Lucas.

I think having 1 fail as long as your alternative player is respectable.

I don't know and it's killin me.

Imagine getting Lucas, Higgins, Hase, JWS, Dempsey and then losing a couple to soft tissue injury at once. IMO more then a fair chance that could happen.

Not for me.

Houlihan

Moloney

to a lesser extent, Kerr and Judd.

How long is a piece of string.
Who knows if he will ever avg 100 again.
Hes 30, in a brand new team, which will no doubt have different strategies and setup.
Will he get enough ToG, If he becomes effective will he cop the first tag or be tagged at all?

Too many question marks for me. But i'll be watching him on tele and hope he carves it up. Luv my cousies just not for DT this year.

I try to limit these players as much as possible even though they can bring super reward.

Im considering Raines, C.Cornes, Alwyn whilst players like Higgins, Lucas, Houlihan and Haselby are pretty much locks for me ATM.

Does anyone know how serious the Birchall injury is ??

Swallow for me could get over his atrocious year last year and build on the promise he showed before that.

I've gone for Raines, Skippy and Higgins. I'm interested in Lucas, but I haven't seen him put in a decent score since his injury.

Lokyer, before last season had been a gun dream team player. A few injuries early killed his season and reckon he will come back with a bang.

All over Dempsey = is great value in my mind

GIven Haselby a miss - he was fat and unfit before his knee - i doubt he is getting any better

So was N.Stevens last year, just tell me how much he avg in 08. (Not saying he will be anything like Stevens in 09). But is hows what he can do. Hes a proven player and a solid dtmer and defiatnly best 22. Only because he has scored 50's in NAB means nothing look at the past and see how well players have gone in the NAB.

Good post. I think its a fair comparison.

Can someone give me a list of players (with extent and description) that have had limited pre season and aren't expected to be fully fit for the start of the season.
Also, can someone give me a list of players that were troubled by injury last season and are fit and firing and ready for round 1.

Does anyone know a website with this information?
