A little disrespectful to Troy Cook I'd say. What about Luke McPharlin? Matt Carr might be on the down slide, but bugger me if he hasn't been better at Freo than he ever was at St Kilda.
Des, Solly, Josh are all as good as they were at their previous clubs, Jeffrey is more consistent, and I would argue that despite Blackie's 3 years at St Kilda during their "golden boys of the AFL" era, he has been way better as a Docker than a Saint.

What is it with people and bagging Freo this past couple of weeks?
They're trying to keep us down but they'll eat their words soon, mark my words
I'd like to know how many of the journo's who comment negatively on our team actually watch our games. I'd say it would be single figure %. Most of them talk absolute crap.
Idiots like Commetti read that we picked an old side Round 1 and continue to harp on about it without actually watching the games, rehashing old comments to grab the spotlight for a moment.
It's pathetic.
We picked 4 either new or relatively new players last week Dennis!! And they all did well, Palmer was electric. And this week we've picked another youngish player in Duff!! Plus Warnock and Drum are a chance to come in...
The only OLD player not performing is M Carr. Taz is only 27-28, has plenty of years left in him and deserves a couple more chances to turn it around and although I agree he needs to lift, he's also a key position player and its the midfield who dictates the delivery he receives.
Its the guys like Peake, Schammer, Mi Johnson, Mundy etc who need to lift - hardly guys you'd consider past it.
How stupid do you have to get before you realise it? And why do people keep indulging these fools?

By the end of the season it will be Sydney getting that criticism. Also i seem to remember a huge article on afl.com.au a couple of years back 2006 i think it was saying how Essendon and Collingwood both drafted poorly. They both have quite exciting lists atm especially collingwood.

I said I would check back in 10 years time to see if your club had made any progress on the things I mentioned (good luck with those btw). I don't recall saying I wouldn't be back to talk about other things in the meantime. There is a difference, although I accept that perhaps the difference is too subtle for someone of your intellect to comprehend.

By stating a time frame for 'progress' you automatically removed yourself from commenting on everything that happened between now and 10 years. You can't 'check back in 10 years time' on something you already know and have been obsessing over every day. Success comes because - and despite of - everything a club does, from on field form, to recruitment, to coaching, to selection and so on...
Commenting on any one thing then means you're not following through with your first statement.
So what is it? Are you going to check back in 10 years on our progress toward the goals you stated we should try to achieve? Or are you going to continue to make yourself look like the prehistoric human you are, muttering pointless garbage in every thread of an opposition team?
Write this down somewhere clearly visible:
