Was Barry Cable in the video? No? He's one of our greatest ever players. I guess anti-woke outrage is selective.

I don't think we saw David Dench or Jim Krakouer either. I would say they made the decision to exclude anyone with a criminal conviction from the video, whether they are superstars or not.Was Barry Cable in the video? No? Indecent assault. Not sure how I read that personally, but I’ll choose to not take offence.
Think it was unnecessary of the club to exclude our greatest ever player, clearly on the grounds you suggest, if that’s indeed that’s why they did. It’s a dangerous game IMO.
“Clutch my pearls”……whatever.Indecent assault.
Battery.
Domestic violence.
Assault police (2x)
Providing a character reference for Jason ****ing Moran.
And that's all before you mention he slept with his team mates wife and threw the club in to a shit storm.
A team mate whose son is about to start playing in the blue and white and is actually deserving of some pride.
Clutch your pearls elsewhere, he's a flog and we shouldn't celebrate nor use his imagine in any way shape or form ever again.
Not having a go, but should we get rid of our two 90s cups then? Not sure if we win those without him in the team. Just don't like the idea of delving into a person's character when their achievements/works are involved. Don't invite him to club functions, sure, but with inane stuff like this, I don't see the issue of including him in thingsIndecent assault.

The record is the record. He's still listed as a premiership player. The club is still listed as the winner of those flags. Not having a go, but should we get rid of our two 90s cups then? Really need to see this current crop win a flag soon so we can move past those days. The record is the record. He's still listed as a premiership player. The club is still listed as the winner of those flags.
The issue is if you continue to celebrate someone with that kind of behaviour then it demonstrates that you'll celebrate a TT type as long as they're good at footy.
paid for his misdemeanours. Its been 20+ years. Get off your hill. He deserves recognition for what he did for the club. You have a tasmanian logo, you arent a kanga, ship off.Indecent assault.

David Dench is shown lifting the premiership cup at 49 sec.I don't think we saw David Dench or Jim Krakouer either. I would say they made the decision to exclude anyone with a criminal conviction from the video, whether they are superstars or not.
Well said H2H.I’ve already said that I think celebrating 100 years in this competition is pretty meaningless. Honestly didn’t give a second’s thought to who was in or out of the clip - it’s celebrating the jumpers, not the players who wore them, and if anyone bothered I bet they could pick quite a few of the best all time NMFC players who didn’t feature. Making a thing of it just to make sure everyone knows you consider abuse of women unimportant is pretty weird behaviour.
Onya Denchy, superstar!David Dench is shown lifting the premiership cup at 49 sec.
Thanks, missed that one.David Dench is shown lifting the premiership cup at 49 sec.
According to the early Google trend data, people care even less about it than when his nomination to the NSW hall of fame was blocked.
