The takes from the so-called official footy journos are so knee-jerky and short-sighted that it wouldn't surprise you to find out that they actually came from a child of six still struggling with the concept of object permanence.
You shouldn't have to dig six feet deep into the Internet for quality footy media, but you ****ing well do. Everything's done in the names of hot takes and clicks, and rarely does anyone in the official media circle sit back and put out a well-thought out spiel that actually makes you think about the sport or the game or the player or whatever in-depth and in a new light
