Also.worth pointing out that, for all his faults, Robbo is a very good journalist in his own right.
True. Gerard vs Robbo just worked on 360. But heard Robbo might not be the best person. Happened to mention his name one day talking about a footy article and this guy I kinda knew who was a regular said "that bloke tried to shag my wife".
This was when the two of them were in Bendigo at the time, both obviously moved to Melb. It was awkward.

It did work didn’t it.
For me it was the fact archer and Jackson would go over to his house and watch games which surprised me.
Gave him a bit more credibility in my books after watching that segment

Part of what made 360 work is the contrast between Whateley and Robbo. One is the ultra straight and professional media guy, the other is the more grass roots, less polished but passionate footy fan. And somehow they were able to play off each other really effectively, as they represent both sides of the sport.

Replacing Robbo with just another polished media person just makes it so boring.
True.

But for that reason, when Whateley was unavailable 360 became a hard watch.

Robbo hosting with Kath Loughnane was some of the most awkward tv I’ve seen all year.

How does the guys medical appointments come up at the Brownlow?

Then there’s jy putting wine under Sheezels nose.

My intel is BT will replace Robbo

Caro and Corn on the cob left 9 for a more matchday role, or roll (maybe a chicken treat chicken roll combo)
