I dont think it was a proto it was a size large. The 12 protos were always medium
But if it's 2007-2008 it should have AFL logos in the numbers shouldn't it?

FXD owns a #12 Prototype, exact to the one sold on ebay. Except his white strip on the tri-panel is wider than usual. Size large also.

The ebay #12 is a 2006 style design, old cuffs, cut etc. So maybe large was used by puma back then. Then in 2007 and on wards, medium was then used due to the tighter fit of the material etc. Just a thought. All the prototype #12's we see nowdays are 2007 onwards that's why we assume size medium, early days could have been different.

It was a cheap buy, i passed on it as it does not really have much relevance to my eagles collection.

06 was preying bird. This is and 07 logo on an 06 jumper basically

Where is the best place to get a jumper valued? or what is the best process?
Depends on the jumper. Chuck us a PM and ill try and sort out a value for you.

Nice get! Pi's in rl are hard to get thats for sure.

Ive only got 1 of my side (cronulla) & that was hard

Yeah I know, and what makes this even rarer is that it is a Benji Marshall PI, up until I saw this one I didn't know they existed in the public, apart from a match worn women in league one that was auctioned last year, but through a club auction, not ebay.

Aside from the sizes. I love NRL jerseys and their designs and just awesomeness and giving everything a crack.

Prime example of this is the new set of Warrior jerseys.
Retro rounds.
Women's round
Indigenous round
Charity rounds

They do it so well.

Yeah as a league fan I do love the diversity of jerseys, but that is an interesting point, it is well done however in the RL jersey discussions I read, the main argument is that there are too many jerseys and that there should not be all of these one off designs.

The thing is its a money spinner & its good for fans win -win. When the afl did it with heritage they sort of run out of jumpers to wear after 2 years.

The afl needs a few $$ spinner rounds imo

No one buys the heritage guernseys.

The fewer guernseys the better.

Tell that to all the people who
Pay atleast 100+ for heritage jumpers atm
You pay more than that for a new guernsey in Rebel right now.

Mero will tell you how few heritage guernseys were sold.

The reason we no longer have Heritage Round and Heritage guernseys was the failure of them to sell.
Some clubs lost a pile of money over them.

I understand that. I get confused when about 5 clubs have made heritage style jumpers in the past few years. One would think the marketing department would say no as it has been a failure in the past

Yes five clubs have made maybe one each in the last half decade or more.

Not every club making one every year.

How many of those heritage jumpers actually had anything to do with the heritage of the club?
Brisbane and Essendon simply embarrassed themselves with what they put out.
Sydney did the big sash thing and West Coast did the Yellow Peril, but their supporters buy anything.
If anything was learned from the Heritage jumpers it was to make the Heritage jumper different from the Home jumpers so people would feel like they were buying something different.
