An early 90s David Hart player issue also sold for $1200 on Gumtree a few weeks ago. It was in a nice double-sided frame, but unfortunately it had autographs on the front and back. I know a few of the Eagles collectors on here would have seen it.

I don't have a bigger picture of the front, but you get the idea.

Yeah I enquired about that one, I was gunna make an offer on it but it was a bit steep in the end.

In the end, for what it was, I also thought the price was a little steep. I would have enquired further if it weren't for the scribbles.

Yeah that was my thought, without the sigs I may have made a serious offer. Now the 2 that you got:eek: I did have a sneaky go at the GF one but it got out of my reach pretty quickly, well done on them, they are probably some of the rarest guernsey's going around on these boards.

Thanks MIKE85. The listings finished while I was at work, so I had to set my maximums a few hours before the end. It was a pretty nervous shift! I knew they had already generated a large amount of offers and interest so I was not confident at all.

I'd love to see some pics of your collection, must be pretty big by now!

Yeah I was a little skeptical about them, whether they were legit, I asked the seller and they said they purchased 6 jumpers form a woman who's father had been given them by John. There was that GF jumper, the training one, another 93 long sleeve player issue and I think 3 State of Origin jumpers from the early 90's. I'd say the seller would have made a MASSIVE profit from selling all of them. Would have loved to get one of them but they just went crazy!!

Mike. Sorry to drag up an old thread. I remember seeing a pic of the long sleeve jumper a while back. How can you tell it was a 1993 jumper?? It had an SGIO logo on front and nothing on back, would that mean it was a home jumper?? or did they have have home and away jumper sponsors back then?? Basically I'm trying to work out how you could tell the difference between the Eagles jumpers between 1990 and 1994 Inc.

You could tell it was a 1993 jumper because SGIO had lost its stencil lettering, which appeared until the end of the 1992 season. The SGIO patch became a circle from the beginning of 1994. You are correct in saying that it was a home jumper. SGIO appeared on the front of the home jumper and Hungry Jack's featured on the front of the away. There were no back sponsors until 1994.

Like Haydos said SGIO was the home Front & back sponsor and HJ's was away. teams only started having sponsors on the back in 94, so I guess a 94 player issue is fairly rare, the only year we had the old design with back sponsors before we changed to the white outline and no "eagles" text on the front.

Just bought this. PI?
This jumper is from 1999 and no player wore the number 34 in 1999 before the new logo came in 2000. The last person was Jayson Daniels who left at the end of 1998 and then they didn't have black pinstripes.
Possibilities are it was worn by someone else, kept as a spare PI or worn in reserves
Could any one shed light on this?
