Really, in the position that you are in with your ruck situation, pick 33 is a fair trade. Will play next year.

Leaves us a bit vulnerable to another Bailey injury. Club must believe that Luke Lowden is not far off from becoming a player.

well if we give up 28 for ebert and 33 for renouf then we have basically screwed ourselves out of any chance of making some ground up on the competition. adding 2 players who while they may be able to perform are decent and or fringe players and are not going to help us close the gap.
we are basically hoping that pick 6 turns out to be a star otherwise we would have gone backwards over alot of the competition.
we really need to keep that pick 28 now so we can at least add 2 young kids who may work out to be players that can really improve our side.
i know people will say port are shit and these players will help but that was richmonds strategy for ages and look where it got them. they kept bringing in average players. now they are adding in many top draft picks and have some gun players. i wanted one thing from this trade period, and that was not to off-load those draft picks, i know people think its a shallow draft and while its going to be hard going once in the 40's ( i think plenty of talent in that top 30ish) there is always talent being found everywhere and while not everyone is a winner the only way you can win is if you invest. the only way.

really he is worth more then pick 33 played 50 games and is about to hit the age where ruckmen start to flourish but seeing as 33 is now our first pick i guess we had to do it

so have we just brought in a back up ruck, that cant play any position other than ruck??
when most teams are playing mobile 2nd rucks and bench space is more important than ever we are going to be rotating lobbe and renouf from the bench??

Good move by the Hawks, don't know what Port Adeliade fans think about this. Renouf isn't that good, what happened to Seaby ?? he had a medical and all yesterday didn't he and checked out Port's facilities ? must have just all broken down.
