Loved a pre season internal trial address he made at 3/4 time to the group many years ago. Was not a happy man!

Gave the players a serve, even though it was an internal trial. Thought they were half ar$ed and not serious, so he threw the magnets around with gay abandon.

One T Ginever was mucking around with a trainer while Jack was speaking - Jack called his name out, then promptly benched him for the quarter to set an example :laughv1:

Tim calmly smiled and said something like "An absolute pleasure Jack" and went on chatting to the trainer.
You could see the thunder clouds and lightning raging above Jack's head - he was ropeable!!!

Imagine that today? Would be so many tears.

My memory of John Cahill's two years at collingwood is that he resigned due to being absolutely fed up with being continually back stabbed, and specifically by Lou Richards and his brother.

Half the board literally went out and hired John Kennedy Sr at the same time as the other half hired Jack. Cahill took the reins, and Kennedy got free money.

An absolute clowncar of a situation to be coaching under.
