Sorry to say something that you won't like,but needs to be said. Your captain's speech after the game was a disgrace as it was against Brisbane Lions when you won. Does nothing as the front man for Port Adelaide as a club.

I know the Port supporters are feeling it badly tonight, but in reality you've had one hell of a good year IMO.

Even Choco said tonight that at the beginning of the year they would have settled for 8th before the season began, and you've ended up playing in a GF. 14 other teams didn't.

If anything Port over-achieved IMO during the season, given the number of inexperienced players on the park at any one time.

Disappointing end to it, but congratulations on what has been a damn good year by Port.

Ah well, at the end of the day you have done really well to get into the grand final in the first place. YOu were unlucky to come up against a red hot geelong.

But when you have a great list there is always next year, lots of youth and lots of room to improve

I think that this complete group can take you places.

One and only thing that needs work is the backline, Chaplin and Pettigrew were humiliated + wakelin is gone

Congratulations on a fine year though with only a blemish at the end, todays result was not an accurate indication of where Port Adelaide genuienly is, today the football gods just did not smile on you.

Guys - don't get too down on yourselves. In the context of the entire season you blokes had an awesome season. Don't forget how many young blokes you've got in your side (particularly 1st and 2nd yearers).

I think the mood our blokes were in yesterday they would of done that to any team so don't lose heart. Port will be a very, very good side next year.

Geelong did to you guys what they did to us, you just couldn't get a run on, they manned up and it was kick to kick and then a turn over or contested posession and then they killed you on the rebound.

You still had a great year from where you came from last year so best of luck and chin up.

You can be proud of your year despite what happened yesterday.

If you honestly dont believe that Port fans werent unbearable in the old days when they were winning premiership after premiership in the SANFL, then you're deluded. The Port Adelaide arrogance is the reason so many opposition supporters are reveling in this thrashing. I know you guys are hurting and I can empathise with that feeling but you know that many of your fellow supporters have dug the knives in in the past.

Yeah, was a pretty good year, certainly a lot better than I would've predicted by looking at the lineup every week, and my only regret about the GF is the massive hole the trip burned in my pocket.
