Held in The USA again which it was back in 2016 where Messi infamously missed a pen in the shootout against Chile, which they won, again on penalties like they did in The 2015 Copa on home soil. Argentina are the defending champs after defeating Brazil on home soil back in 2021 thanks to a Di Maria goal in a comp they were originally supposed to host. Big year for some big Nations. Argies getting Brazil at home, their biggest rivals. And Italy getting England at home, another rival. Many predict that the current World and Copa Champions Argentina will go back to back and I'd have to agree. I can't wait for a mad month of Football with once again The Euros and Copa taking place at the same time. Forget work for that month mate!

USA bundled out after losing to Panama and Uruguay.

Dodgy refereeing aside, very poor and listless tournament from them, especially at home.
Very underwhelming but then again they have a weak list at the moment, not really much in the way of "generational" talent coming through.
From what my Yank friends tell me their manager isn't much chop either, says they had the talent to go 10 v 11 in the last game especially when Balogun gave them a lead and instead they bunkered down and gave up 2 goals.

If only there was a Copa America for cricket, tbey'd probably win it easy these days. Including the West Indies.
Given the West Indies smashed them by 9 wickets in the WC just gone, I'm going to say they wouldn't.
