you cant expect a bloke who hasnt played footy in ages to come back and get 40 possies, win every ruck tap and dominate a game...he's know Ben cousins...ok And i wouldnt say he is overrated either...give him a few more games and he probly find himself playing in the 1sts

I also saw Goldsack in the best in the paper so he must have had some impact on the game. I was at the Tigers training tonite and asked a few of the 2nds players how he went and they said he pretty much dominated the centre bounces, and pretty much every other ruck contest around the gorund. They also reckon he was taking plenty of marks around the ground. From what I hear, a great effort for a first game back. I guess the next few weeks will tell.

Yeah fair call, but i dont reckon he will be as good as he used to be though and i think most will agree

Will Tyson Moloney win the league medal again?

I was at Wahgunyah and Billabong and the way he collects the ball and then finishes with it is just awesome. Although he didnt play to the best of his ability he still carved up and was easy among the best. I have my money on him for winning it.

You won't be very far off the mark.
Not only is Tys a ball magnet, he is also a vote magnet.

Defiantly a vote magnet only have to look a few years back when he won his last league medal he was 20 something votes behind the arcade jewelers award winner, defiantly knows how to bluff a few votes but although I cant disagree that his not a ball magnet because he his, but the only medal he wants this year is a CDFL premiership medal something he hasn’t got. Only played in one grand final in his whole career will be looking to lead the Crows there this year.

Interesting with tys moloney at 4 but i still have my tip on him to win the league b&f.

Read in the Border Mail that a member of the Billabong Crows has started a petition to keep the CDFL together next year!?!?!? Is this from the same club that at the start of the season was in on the merge of the remaining CDFL Clubs and some northern PDFL Clubs, before then changing its mind and plugging to go to the Hume League? What the hell is going on? Isn't it a bit late now? Jerilderie goes before the PDFL next week for admission to that comp (they will be accepted) and Wahgunyah are probably more detremined to head to the Tallangatta than ever! I can't see CDHBU changing their minds now? The CDFL CANNOT survive with just Coly, Rennie and the Crows.

Is anyone else confused by the Crow's latest move or am I reading this wrong? Any crows people on this thread to shed some light on this?

I hope it gets up.
Obviously it can only survive with the influx of teams either from Picola or Hume (less likely), but as has been said before, the Saints will not go if the CDFL survives. They only covered their own arse with their application so they would have the process in place if CDFL went under.
I may be wrong but I honestly believe Jerilderie is exactly the same.
Wahgunyah wants to go (God knows why), and the league can't survive with five.
So if Wahgunyah goes, the future of the league depends on new clubs coming in from either east or west.
CDHBU and Jerilderie will IMO be a part of that if it happens.

Chalk and Danny Kirchin are both top leaders as well as being top players.
There is a big differance between the two and these boys have it in spades.

How good is this comp Danny Kirchin was playing in mulwala's tows for the last few years. Now on this thread i am reading he is a top player ?

I wouldn't rate the comp high but it is hard, its not for softies i can tell you that!!.. i think Danny Kirchen was normally 1st or 2nd emergcy for the 1st....And Mul has been siting on the top the last few years with ex afl player (stevens) and a ex yarra permiership player in (lucas)

Thanks for that give t t bird. Your prob right mul has been a good side for a few years now but they have not been a top 2 side untill this year. And as for Stevens and Lucas this is only there 1st and 2nd years at mul.
