What a complete balls up from SA Health not messaging the person involved in this to stay at home and Isolate.

They've been dropping the ball a bit lately.

Oh boy. SA Health appears to have a game of played COVID roulette and lost.
We are now in a situation where we count down for 14 days and hope he has not infected anyone.

Good news for 30th Nov, zero cases so that is a start.

No doubt the dropkick who breached quarantine could end up replacing the pizza bar worker as SA’s most hated man if another lockdown happens (please no!!!)

The latest is he was not told to quarantine just to get tested on day 1 and 12 days later. We have to wonder what SA health have told the other 5,500 people who are supposed to be self isolating.

Massively.

Up until now I have supported most of their actions, but this Peppers/Parafield cluster/Pizzeria things has been an enormous balls-up from almost day one.

Lots of mistakes made, but the public are being made to feel as if it's all our fault for not isolating or getting tested (after the Govt originaly were quite explicit in advising us not to test unless exhibiting symptoms!).

Reckon the Govt is rapidly exhausting any goodwill it had banked until this point.

Tell us one thing, then redact and spin another conflicting story.

And just how does being a "casual contact" mean one is less of a risk to the community? FFS this latest quarantine buster caught the COVID disease, so why were they allowed out to go on a shopping frenzy all over the suburbs.

I'm thinking that people will soon turn on St Nic and Super Stevie, and tell the Govt to stick it where the sun don't shine re- lockdowns, etc.

Too much duck shoving and a*** covering going on for my liking.

My understanding is that most of these people were close not casual so should have been quarantining. Setting the SA Health stuff up in public comms to the side, the fact that this individual was still caught given the lack of known direct contact via the casual contact tracing effort is a real plus and reflective of the diligence of the contact tracing teams.

Get f’ed you piece of sh*t.

What is he going to sue for? The little known “I lied to the government and they believed me but then they found out I’m a lying piece of shit and didn’t believe me and now my feelings are hurt” law?

If that campaigner sues and wins we are officially America and the end is nigh. I’m off to the North Pole to live with Santa. At least I’ll have someone I can believe in.

I mean, is his lawyer working pro bono? Guy like that aint gonna have money to spend on legal bills.

What page are we on here? Who are you guys posting about, the pizza guy who lied or the 30 year old shopper who simply did as he was told by SA Health?

We'd be on page 10 if it weren't for you.

To be quite honest, speaking from a household who has just been released from 14 days self isolation due to household high school close contact, the communication they have had with
us is lackluster. Had a couple of initial calls from VIC and NSW Health, they didn't really sound like they knew what was happening and not given a good direction from SA to follow. We eventually got correspondence from someone at SA Health calling asking for some random! (Of a name not even close to ours). We were promised daily texts for symptom checking and these came at random times of random days. My partner even has a friend who kept getting calls from SA Health asking them about their self iso/symptoms/close contacts etc who wasn't at the said location and they refused to take them off the list.

The SA public had been promised from "St Nic" and friends that their "Medi hotels" (a name to polish a turd) are completely safe and at no risk to the public. There should be pitchforks out for this situation we are in!

Yup, with a 50% cut I’d imagine.
The lawyers always win.
