Lol

Some crazy woman commenting on a local news status in Facebook that everyone needs to get tested all the time, she goes twice weekly even when she isn't sick or been to a hotspot, that everyone needs to follow her lead and take this seriously as it's the only way to stop it, and everyone that isn't getting a regular test isn't doing the right thing

fu**, imagine living with that sh*t inside your head.

I knew these people were out there, but this is the first confirmed sighting of one.

Yes everyone, get a test when no symptoms, no exposure sights, no contact, and put yourself into isolation and miss work, do it or you will kill everyone.

Honestly if we had accurate saliva testing that could be done at home and was cost effective and sustainable, this would basically stop the virus in a very short amount of time.

Lol my partner is immunocompromised and was told by her GP and specialists that the vax will be kinda useless for her after her other treatments continue.

My daughter is immunocompromised and her specialist said get her vaccinated, and she's doubled vaxxed. He was concerned that she was at greater risk of getting seriously ill if she got covid because of a compromised immune system.

That is why it is sad that all the people that can get vaxed don’t get vaxed.
They could reduce risk of spread to people like your vulnerable partner but to most of them it’s about their personal freedom rather than consideration of others or else they are sucked in by conspiratorial rubbish.

My partner is getting double vaxxed too but it's expected to wane fairly quickly once she begins her immunosuppressive treatments again since having a break to prepare her for the Vax.

Agree, but this wasn't that. This was preaching for people to get regular tests, the regular way, for no ****ing reason other than this woman's own paranoia that without it, the end of times will ride right up to her doorstep.

I think it's sad people have become so scared.

I am immuncompromised too. Already double vaxced since May. My rheumatologist has already contacted me this afternoon to book in for a third vax.

Adelaide is the shittest creek in Australia. Victoria will be open and back to travelling internationally and to NSW by December whilst you open your borders when you finally reach 80% and then lockdown. Your healthcare system is more rooted than ours and you haven't got a single case.
Victoria just recorded two deaths due to the slow response time of ambulances because paramedics are so overworked with Covid patients.

Soldiers are literally being trained to drive ambulances in Melbourne because things are so dire.

You just recorded the highest daily increase of Covid positive tests in the country.

Your premier just got fined twice for not wearing a mask, despite lecturing Victorians to play by the rules for 18 months.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am so glad I don't like in that ****ing dump of a city that they used to call the world's most liveable. It's nothing more than a dark, dirty shithole now.

As I have said before, the covid thread gives me more hope than our coaching and is more interesting, it changes daily.
The Sack Hinkley thread never changes, it just goes on and on in forever circles and gives me no hope. I mean how many different ways can we say, sack Ken?

Fake news. PAFC66 said SA's healthcare system was worse than Victoria's.

It is , but all states are... No where near enough has been invested in any states healthcare system that would enable them to be prepared for a pandemic like this. All state govs and feds are guilty of this.

You've got code yellows and ramping all the time without covid. Regional is even worse. Your MPs are speaking about it all the time and writing to the Federal government with dire warnings of what may happen when covid hits, It's why you're the most conservative state with WA in Australia when it comes to covid.

We'll cope. Hospitsations are falling , it's gone from like 11% to 4% this week. Vaccines are working. Hopefully your state will cope at 80%.
