But "Antifragility" is a bit out there at the end of the bell curve

I've just started reading that. Not sure I'll get through it, to be honest.

SEN is reporting Victorian government is allowing full training for professional team in enclosed facility.

AFL is gonna struggle to make a consistent policy nationwide given a couple of states have allowed 10 to train together but the AFL have banned them.

probably wont be a comprehensive nationwide policy until Wednesday.

They need to ban training until all teams can do it.

On SM-G925I using BigFooty.com mobile app
All 18 teams should start with 10 when all players are out of quarantine. NSW doesn't start 10 non professional sports until Friday 15th. All states will have moved to 10 by the end of the week.

They have to talk to all governments so as to have a common start date when full squads can train together.

But Vics wont delay season for that.

I think America is looking at 400k deaths plus by the end of the year. Despite the 80k deaths they've had already, the "just the flu" crowd is gaining momentum. Things are going back to normal. With their levels of morbidly obese this is going to be a humanitarian disaster.

Maybe this is why #ObamaGate has been trending on Twitter...

that's just the numpty facebook normies. the real ones are onto the "they're just labelling every death as corona"

The EPL has put a proposition for all games to be played at a neutral ground as they don’t want home fans turning up to a locked stadium and making a nuisance of themselves. The cellar dwellers are complaining because it’s not going to help their rise out of the relegation zone.

-- Brighton players tests positive

The Premier League’s hopes of restarting its season were undermined on Sunday, when a Brighton player tested positive for COVID-19. Brighton, who have not revealed the player’s identity, have now had three positive cases since March, and the club have confirmed that its players will continue to train at its training base individually.

"Despite all of the measures that we've been taking over the past few weeks, where the players haven't been involved in any significant training at all, we've still suffered another player testing positive for the virus,'' Brighton chief executive Paul Barber said. Premier League clubs will continue talks on Monday about how to resume the season, despite clubs being unable to resume group training, in line with the British government’s social distancing rules.

Not to be cynical, but this is probably a deliberate ploy. Brighton are refusing to play in neutral venues for some bizarre reason.

Which is why the National Cabinet should have put some timelines for national competition together last Friday. We had all the Premiers together and they could have put together a frame work that allowed all States to move forward together. Instead we had the Victorian Premier wait 48 hours before announcing a set of training conditions that are in advance of anywhere else bar the NRL in NSW. In the meantime the South Australian Premier announced that training would be allowed in groups of ten.

In fairness to Andrews the Victorian infection rate is falling and I suppose he had to wait and see but this is all over the place like a dog's breakfast and it does not need to be. For once I feel some sympathy for Gillion McLachlan and the AFL as they have to negotiate with five State Governments some of which are on different pages. Hopefully the respective State Governments will see the need for uniformity and all teams will get away a start this week sometiome.

Maybe Gillion can organise a zoom meeting?

It's just another day at news.com.au

South Australia’s new streak of zero local daily coronavirus cases has continued on the first day of restrictions easing.

If there's still undetected corona sneaking around out there it'll probably be a couple of weeks before we start seeing new infections/symptoms given the delays that can occur.

Well you've been wrong about everything else so far so why not go big on this prediction. An extension of this logic is Australia can now expect 60k of corona deaths by years end based on similar re-opening schemes.

America’s death rate outside New York is still rising.
Including New York it has plateaued at an average of 2k a day.
It’s not really an outrageous prediction.
