Sorry I mean industry wide. Go through Johnson & Johnsons history please as a example. Very common for them to know there product causes death but continue on anyway. How they are still a company is a crime against humanity.
Again, you're misreading their motive.
Money is the motive.
If they have a product that's going to make a truckload of money, that they can cover-up the side-effects (or at least, think they can) you can guarantee they'll do it.
Death isn't their motive.
