I have to track things like markets, consumer confidence etc for work. It's trending very strongly in the US and is actually at a record here. Had a look out of interest and noticed Australia is at an 11 year high as well. It's just one indicator really. But market strength as well as strong opinion polls for Premiers seems to show that Australia are willing to keep this as status quo for a while yet.

What I will no longer tolerate are those who when you post a link - disparage the source but refuse to cite a credible source themselves.
They ignore the message and focus on shooting the messenger. The US media has done this with Assange, his revelations no matter how horrific are replaced with accusations of rape and Russian influence. The message is forgotten in the cloud of nonsense. Anyone using this method of arguing should not be engaged - push the ignore button and banish their arse.

Flu deaths are 0 this year so are Ronna and we were free compared to the rest of the world, until the HQ leaked and not enough people are vaxxed so it spread
The answer to the obsolete question is get enough vax and roll it out and build leak proof quarantine and flu is cured as well as Ronna

or we could take on the recommendations of this thread and be as free as Brazil

Fauci 2020 vs Fauci 2021

Fauci 2020
- Dont wear masks
- The virus has 5% mortality rate
- The virus came from a bat humping a pangalin
- We need to stay calm
- Follow the rules by staying 1.5 apart and keep living your normal lives. Life will return to normal in a few months

Fauci 2021
- Wear 2 masks at once
- The virus has a 0.2% mortality rate
- China made the virus
- We should not be so calm. We need to be concerned
- Stay home, we need to do this for the next few years. This will be ongoing for the rest of our lives

Would be a hell of a debate

A big part of Australias confidence is we have a safety buffer that no matter what happens Aristotle and co will keep being given free money for no reason by the government. Easy to keep spending when you have the familiarity of that bailout to keep you safe

It was a novel virus. No one knew much about it at the start. He's not a clairvoyant.
What possible motive could he have for spreading the virus are you mad?

BuzzFeed reported some of the 3,000-plus pages of emails it received were reviewed by the Trump administration before being handed over.

They are also filled with redactions and represent only a portion of what was requested, leaving gaps in the timeline.

The emails were released by trump and the ones he didn't like he redacted so it means nothing.

I thought that would be a subset of option 5, and it depends on just how "forced". Being barred from overseas travel or "gun to head". I'll think about it, but you can always change your vote.

Me, Im accusing Fauci of sending money to the wrong people myself. He was hellbent on researching novel coronavirus in labs and used US funding to do this. He sent money to the Wuhan institute. Wuhan institute leaked the virus accidently. China found out about this and tried to hide it from the world however left it too late when Italy was being overrun and were beginning to ask questions that eventually couldnt be ignored some 6 months after the first issue occured.

If China and Fauci were upfront in August 2019 and didnt try to hide there mistake and instead tackled it head on, the pandemic wouldnt have started. It was them unsuccessfully trying to hide there mistake that caused all the issue. When you refuse to fix your mistake with pure intent, that makes you responsible really. If I accidently light a fire, tell no one and let it burn down the house, thats my fault. This, this is Fauci and Chinas fault. They knew and did nothing but go into self protection mode.

Fauci isnt active because he is concerned and helpful. Fauci is active because he is ridden with guilt and shame

Must have missed MERS being wildly transmittable myself. MERS and SARS were extremely difficult to transmit and were more blood based virus. If anything they offer proof against your theory. If 5 viruses in a row share similar characteristics, why isnt the 6th questioned for being completely different?

I'm aware that other states have had this QR nonsense in for a while now, have there been any legal challenges at all? I haven't heard anything.

Also, it's hardly surprising that the 2 mystery cases from supposedly "fleeting contact" turned out to be false positives! So all the hyperbole and fear we have heard of this strain is shown to be false. Will we here any of this from the MSM? Wouldn't hold my breath.
