Different strain for one. Secondly our travel patterns here a completely different. Our public transport system lends to more movement over distance than it does elsewhere meaning transmission more likely. Our socialisation habits are different and sees more interaction. Likewise the development of let's say community hubs of immigrant communities in particular suburbs lead to greater spread through more community interactions.

Do you think its fair that it was a different state's system that brought COVID back to Victoria and then we are just left holding the bag when it starts to spread?

If it was our governments mistake I would cop some of the "Andrews government" rhetoric but I think when it was not even our system that started the outbreak we should be allowed some assistance for people who are left in the lurch.

I disagree it wasnt your governments mistake, besides the mayor of victoria on here has said its a state issue so I guess you are left holiding the bag

what i will agree on at the end of the day is those suffering are the ones caught in the middle of the political games

what shits me at federal, state , lib, labour whatever level and party is the bullshit media spin

if a lockdown is coming or some changes they clearly float ideas and language changes to the media first, the set design , the way they talk
who did what, who paid what

then we all sit here arguing over this crap and end up ****ed over

Regardless of any party there should have been facilities built by now , just get rid of hotel quarantine now
