Sounds like the ultimate free pass in a marriage.

"Where were you last night?"

"Can't tell."

Even if you got caught in flagrante delicto, "It was work. I had to do it. For the safety of the country. Forget you saw anything."
Shades of tied up at the office...

That is part of the life of a stereotypical secret agent. But having read a book called 'Soldier Spy" which is an autobiography of an MI5 agent, it is a lot less sex and cocktails, and a lot more sitting in shit cars, pissing and shitting in bottles whilst waiting in said car whilst developing massive anxiety issues.

I think this gives a good insight into spy life.

Sad story, but one of the fathers in our group whose kids played footy together from tackers was an undercover operative of some sort. Of course he never went into specifics. Was a really nice guy but could get a bit scary after a few beers, though in a playful way.
Sad part is he took his own life last year. We all believed it was related to the stress of his job.

Just had a look at the ASIO puzzles. Logic grid puzzle solved, couldn't even begin any of the others. Looks like my only options are out in the field, but it was always going to be this way.

Certainly surprising. She is currently so far ahead of anyone else on the circuit, she could have dominated for a long while to come.
Might be time to start a family. Evonne won a Wimbledon after having a baby, so who knows.

Maybe. If she wanted advice from me I would tell her not to rush into it at 25. Spend a few years without a worry in the world beforehand!

Sage advice. Everyone should have a few years like that and she can afford it. Take all the time she needs to enjoy life and then plan for the next chapters.

Learn new things, see new places... life for her can be awesome.

I remember informing a senior colleague of Mrs Side’s first pregnancy. His response, “why the fk are you telling me now? You should have spoken to me months ago. You are fkd. Your life is fkd. You fkd everything.”

I suspect that at the time you likely thought your fellow colleague was exagerrating the drama of it...

I recall similar warnings directed at me.

We knew nothing Swipey. Nothing.

You can tell Ash hates tennis. not the first time she's retired. I am predicting she plays AFLW, would be a massive boost for the girls if she did
Perhaps the most ignorant post I have ever read.

My bronze medallist daughter has suddenly gone deaf in one ear. No infection or blockage.
Steroids prescribed but no improvement. Off to the Eye and Ear tomorrow.

Life sucks sometimes.

Love to you and your daughter mate

Kids worry us more than anything as parents

Hopefully her ear is better quickly -- you are going to a good hospital
