Can anyone explain why the AFL needs to fly Craig Willis all the way to Perth to ask people to stand for the national anthem? Or why the AFL need him to do this anywhere at all? The bloke who is constantly yelling at the crowd on the PA system can surely do the same gig. Or they could simply start the anthem - I reckon folks would catch on. It's the same thing wih the club songs. We don't need the bloke on the PA to tell us what's going on. Just play the song and we'll probably work out that our team is entering the arena. I realise this isn't the most important issue in the game today but it's always bugged me.
