Bit disappointing that it's not coming out whilst the Ashes are on but considering the work they have with AFL not a shock. Plenty of time to get the game right now, does look like pro team has been scrapped?
 
BigAntStudios JNT BA Most of the retailers have removed pro team from the advertising for cricket is this accurate? It isn't a deal breaker for me, still will be purchasing the game like the other versions but would have been a cool feature to have.

There's a different team on AFL and Cricket, the main delay for Cricket is the number of new teams, that's a lot of new content.

That same content is to be used in Pro Team, so it also has slipped, but will be coming.

That is good news about pro team , as I said not a huge deal breaker for me but would be a cool feature.

Good news about more teams and content. Very keen for this one.

Just wondering, was the new teams, cricketing boards etc coming on board to be in the game after the initial idea to release the game for the Ashes?

Honestly Cricket 22 is a quality game now if extra time is given for licensing and a little more in depth of a gaming experience the game will be incredible, rather wait then get a rushed and under developed game again that's full of glitches.

100% agree. Was just wondering if the original June release date was changed because crickets boards were late to give their approvals etc.
 
Releases next Thursday and still no info regarding the game other than Ross saying the date is the date.

Looks like the pro team aspect is removed from the game as retailers now don’t have it listed.

Even AFL had more promotion from the BA team. I’m finding it extremely rare and disappointing for a game that will be listed at $80-100 there is no trailer or even screenshots. Has that happened before outside of the free or cheap Indy style games before?

Sounds like a classic Big Ant release.

I'm a pretty big BA defender but it's almost impossible after the AFL 24 debacle and the Rugby 24 delay.

Mate I am a fan of the cricket games and I was an Xbox user who suffered the shit release of 22 but still will get it again.

I don’t really doubt the game will be out next week, Ross has said as much on Twitter and in fairness the original delays of AFL and Cricket were communicated but it was the follow up that was so poorly done.

I just find it so odd that there’s not even screenshots or images of this game at all and it’s their biggest franchise. AFL wise we saw snippets of stadiums , player models etc we’ve seen not a single image of cricket and it’s out next week.

I don’t want a shitty Bajo video or the nets training pre download , it would be nice just to see some images or small gameplay trailer to see whether there’s been any worthwhile changes.
