Which is why winning this series would mean so much. These clowns reckon they own world cricket - it'd be lovely to win back a trophy that has eluded us for the last decade.
The English dominated for so long. And then it was our turn for a while. I don't begrudge the Indians having their time in the sun as they clearly are keeping the game alive globally in all its forms.

But the administration and political control exerted by the ICC is another matter entirely. Clearly biased and without a thought for the spirit of the game. That Bumrah's action goes unchallenged is proof of this.

I have no issues with the talent of these guys - they're brilliant. But there's a reason why people say that ICC stands for India Controls Cricket :).

FOX Sports blaming last night's lights out fiasco on SA's renewable energy policy. The SACA says it was a switching fault. Does that mean the SACA has Fawlty Towers? ;)

Sorry, but I thought I had better get in before Grave Danger.

Turns out it was human error, someone flipped the wrong switch.

Just saw on the news some knucklehead drive into a stobie pole on South Road. Guess that shut power off too. flipping renewables!

And that should be the second half of Siraj's match fee. What an absolute ****wit.

Do we ever want to see your face again? No way get ****ed **** off.

A few of the Australians have played some ordinary get out shots.

Not Mitch Marsh though, he wasn't even out. I wonder what he thought he nicked?

I noticed when his action was queried after the Perth test, a billion biomechanics experts screaming 'hyperextension' invaded cricket commentary forums.

To quote Lennon-McCartney, 'Very strange' ;)

In 11 Tests Scott Boland has 39 wickets at 20.64. He hasn't played a lot of Test cricket but he has produced the goods when he has played. At almost 36 Boland won't play a lot more Test cricket but his short career has been spectacular at times.

At this stage Man Of The Match must be between Mitchell Starc with career best figures of 6/48 in India's first innings and Travis Head with 140 in Australia's first innings. It is probably too early to call but at this stage I would go with Mitchell Starc as his effort set up Australia's dominance but I suspect the batsman will get the nod.

As for Mitch Marsh, he stepped away and Umpire Richard Illingworth got it wrong. Marsh didn't review the decision which is strange. I am not sure how that happens. Even some of the Indians were scratching their heads.

Watched the Phil Hughes doc last night it reminded me he really was burned by selectors at times, to think he was only McSweeney's age when he passed cripes he had 10 plus years of international cricket waiting for him.
And he had been dropped 3 or 4 times already.

What a great day's play yesterday was.

Marnus back into some form, after Bharat Sundaresan tipped it, Head dominates the attack. I think during the period he made his 140, Australia went from 73 behind to 130 in front and then the bowlers made a mess of India's top 4.

As much as I want Australia to win, I want to see Pant bat for 90 minutes of so, he will entertain us better than Robbie Williams, if he bats that long. If he gets a 100, the other Indian lower order wont contribute that much and Australia probably only has to chase 150 in 2.5 days.

This is something I was completely unaware of until I heard Corbin Middlemas mention it on radio yesterday.

The poms in the first two tests selected Jacob Bethell, a player who has never made a century in his representative career.

In the both tests he has batted at 3, made 10 and 50 not out (37 balls), and this test he has made 16 and 96 (off 118 balls). Middlemas talked about him when he was 90 not out, and said he had never made a century in all forms of representative cricket, so I go to Cricinfo and the commentary section, he is 96 and then the next ball or two he gets out.

Anyone know anything about him?? Is this the next phase of Bazball?

Kiwis are 4/64 and need another 518 to win.

They've also found a fast bowler named Brydon Carse. He's quick, a I reckon he might rattle the Aussie top order next summer.

Well, the Kiwis have defiantly got the deficit below 400, and still more than two days to go, so there's plenty of time to get them! Only 4 wickets though.
Or they only have to survive another 220 overs :).

Blewett threw another one away with his 99 issues I reckon.

Jeez it's not a big list is it. Trav our best batsman since the Chappells.

Despite scoring Shield hundreds for fun, David Hookes only made the one test ton, and that was in Sri Lanka - not even a fifty at AO.
