Women’s cricketer Alex Blackwell says men’s and women’s teams should wear same baggy green
“Our baggy green is different to the men’s baggy green. We have a gold ribbon under our coat of arms, which is surrounded by a red stitching. The men’s baggy green is a red ribbon under the coat of arms surrounded by gold stitching,” she said.

I didn't even know this was a thing! Wouldn't be hard to overlook I guess. Unlike when the women wore ODI kits for T20Is as well - which really showed up in the double-headers with the men!

Bought s program at a test match ones and there are a few different logos. I think the fact the men and women have different ones is the way to go. Let's wait for the women to strike though

What different logos? They're not even officially known as the "Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars" anymore - they're the "Australian Women's Cricket Team" to go with the "Australian Men's Cricket Team". They represent Australia at Test/ODI/T20I level for their gender and as such should be wearing the same uniforms and caps, with their respective sponsors.
Unless women's Tests count as less Test-y than men's ones. A Test is a Test is a Test.

Just the teams, as highlighted in the article, along with a corporate logo and a logo for the umpires and maybe some under 19s or underage logos as well and public selling logos. Can't find the book I'll have another look when I'm not hungover

Your reasoning for your decision would be of interest too.

A bit OT, but I it annoys me that they have moved the comments onto the side of the article. I prefered it down the bottom where I could pretend that they didn't exist.

Holy ****ing shit. Can we have all News Corp links in spoiler warnings so I know not to click on them?

It's nice to see England wearing the traditional 'creams' again in test cricket.

Current test series vs South Africa is on at the moment and England have gone back to a more retro look. You can see the difference between the whites of England's kit & South Africa's kit. (Ben Stokes, England on the right). It seems strange that there is two different colours considering that both countries kits are made by New Balance.

Compare that to what shade of white they've been wearing since 2008:

Since when have they actually branded themselves as "Windies"? That's very amatuer. Be like us having "Aussies" or the English having "Pommies" under the logo.

I have seen some pictures where they have used the cap number under the logo, so perhaps they are going with that and just having the 'windies' text as a placeholder on retails. It's most likely just there to be tacky though.
