Hasn’t McDermott been in good form?

Test
Hopefully the Harris can play at this level experiment is over.
Likely to play only 2 quicks on spinner friendly pitches.
Not sure why we still think Marsh is a test quality batsman... when we have Green who has shown he is miles ahead as an all-rounder.

ODI
McDermott out is unlucky.
Imo, time to move Finch on from both ODI's & T20 as we look towards the next cups which he won't be part of.

Harry Conway and Henry Thornton join the Redbacks for next year.

They join Brendan Doggett, Buckingham and Nathan McAndrew - all five being recruited from interstate.

Clearly, no one in SA grows up bowling quick ...

****, bad things really do happen in threes. Marsh, Warne and now Roy. Very entertaining cricketer and one of the most destructive ODI players from that era. He could bat, he could bowl, he could field and he could iron out streakers.

R.I.P Roy.

Shit year for cricket.

Now I know why they were playing Howie's interview on MMM.

Was a great entertainer who was never the same after monkey-gate.

RIP.
Monkey-gate was a real low point for cricket. The Indians were a complete disgrace towards him going as far as covering the whole thing up (the whole Maaki means moron shit), and CA didn't support him during the ordeal either.

Really left a sour taste in his mouth too the poor bloke.

Unfortunately money talks & CA were gutless, particularly under Sutherland.
