My Symonds story was flying into Guyana for 2007 world cup, I was sitting next to his girlfriend at the time & her Mum & had a good chat on the plane... not realising who they were until arrived & they were whisked through immigration control.

That world cup was complete domination as we did not lose a single game

I never really gave it much thought before, but Symonds was definitely in my top 5 favorite One-Day players. On his day, he could be just as dynamic as Gilchrist with the bat and probably more, as he could also bowl and field some classic catches and create run-outs.

Will forever be remembered as the only cricketer that gave onfield hooligans the hip-and-shoulder. Cricketing legend! RIP Roy.

Doesn't sound like it.
Starc opened with Lyon. Starc bowled 2 overs of Filth then Swepson came on. Wickets fell regularly until the inspired decision to bring on Head, who wrapped it up. Cummins not injured.

I know what you meant. ;)

Doubt we will be near 50/50, but I'm a pessimist based on recent history.
Our recruits, to go with last year's lot seem far better than before.

Did you see Henry Hunts form in the Aus A games ?
