Agreed.
Guess time will tell
Same person informed me Daniel Cross will play for Albury on Sunday and that Aker has applied for an assistant coaches role at GC
Smith isnt a small defender. That would be Laird and Brown. You do with Smith out for most of next year.
Gibbs out Watts in? Nah
One softie for another oneNot a snowflakes chance in hell SOS would do that deal.
No mention of Watts or Salem though.Jon Ralph knows no shame.

Edit: Behind a paywall but basically is going with this 3 club trade.
Errr maybe because it's his workplace? Why would the Dee's physio be told or consulted about a potential trade unless he had to run a physical on the incoming player? Blues would be getting robbed
Errr maybe because it's his workplace?
Not that absurd. People gossip about changes at their work all the time. An AFL club is no different.
The list manager would talk to people who talk to people. Do you think a physio just knows about Dale Thomas's crook ankle and nothing else? People in those AFL environments hear all sorts of things. So your suggesting a list manager a few weeks before trade period has gossiped to the physio about 3 clubs and then not only that information but also news about a regional club plus the suns coaching roles has been passed to a BF poster isn't absurd?
Lol. He wouldn't get a game in our forward line. Conditional footballer are not welcome. We'd have 30 players picked in front of him easily and he'd be in the vfl. May as well stay at Melb. Why would Adelaide want a lazy player and a former #1 draft pick that hasn't achieved anything?
You are so full of shit. No Dees physio has any idea of who is up for trade.
Watts would be in your Top 5 players. At the very least he's better than any of the GWS rejects you've taken recently.
No offence to your argument but he's a Carlton player, contracted and we don't have to trade Gibbs for anything. We value him higher than you, so who cares, we will keep him than take a first rounder and some steak knives. We hold all the cards and are happy to keep him (at age 28 btw). He will dominate the competition for atleast 2 more years. The list manager would talk to people who talk to people. Do you think a physio just knows about Dale Thomas's crook ankle and nothing else? People in those AFL environments hear all sorts of things.
This forum is so pointless anyway, people come on here with a potential trade and it's shut down. You could hear about Buddy Franklin to GWS from about fifteen credible sources – CEOs, media people, players – and because it didn't happen, you'd be getting shit for spreading falsities. Then there's the stuff that has happened or is true but is not something that ever came/comes out.
Besides why are Carlton fans so appalled by any offer for Gibbs that isn't Lever and a second rounder or something? Dude is bog average, soft, about 30... like you aren't trading him out when he was 22 and had potential, and you aren't even dealing with a declining player who once actually was in the top 5-10 mids in the game. If Sam Mitchell and Jordan Lewis were at the Blues, people would be asking for Hogan and Sloane.
30 players picked in front of him? Melbourne don't even have 10 picked in front of him, and we missed finals by less than one percent.Lol. He wouldn't get a game in our forward line. Conditional footballer are not welcome. We'd have 30 players picked in front of him easily and he'd be in the vfl. May as well stay at Melb.
That's because we are focussing on being a learning environment at the moment. We will go past Melbourne in no time. Nearly beat them this year twice without our best side. Knocked you out of a finals chance in 2016 too with a very limited team.30 players picked in front of him? Melbourne don't even have 10 picked in front of him, and we missed finals by less than one percent.
Your team couldn't even win ten games.
You're broken.
Jon Ralph knows no shame.

Ok, so you couldn't beat us this year because you're not good enough but you have 30 players ahead of one of our best. That's because we are focussing on being a learning environment at the moment. We will go past Melbourne in no time. Nearly beat them this year twice without our best side. Knocked you out of a finals chance in 2016 too with a very limited team.
If you think watts is so ****ing good and we don't rate him why are we even talking about it. Just keep him and watch. Lol. Enjoy.Ok, so you couldn't beat us this year because you're not good enough but you have 30 players ahead of one of our best.
Get help.
Watts was one of our best when Hogan was out and if you think Weideman is better you have literally no idea about footy. That's because we are focussing on being a learning environment at the moment. We will go past Melbourne in no time. Nearly beat them this year twice without our best side. Knocked you out of a finals chance in 2016 too with a very limited team.
Realistically watts would of been playing vfl at Melbourne all year had hogan not had the various issues. Weideman is better, MacDonald is better and you can't play that many talls these days.
Our talks of McKay, curnow, casboult and silvagni are either young and developing or better than watts so we wouldn't be playing him.
Look a top it this way. I'd take weideman or hogan at Carlton well before I'd take watts. No matter how much Melbourne supporter rave about how good his year was. He also had one of the worst ever final games after coming back from injury. Playing anyone one else on your list those last two games would of got you into finals.Watts was one of our best when Hogan was out and if you think Weideman is better you have literally no idea about footy.
