Adelaide by 3 goals. I think their confidence will be a bit lower after giving away another game they should have won the week before. But they will scrap it out against a desperate Fremantle for that important 4th win early in the season. The next 2 weeks are much tougher so we need to win this.

Dogs away then Geelong home. Think we will lose to dogs making cats game crucial for our top 4 ambitions.

Most posters on here would be ropeable with a 3 goal win this week (and probably rightly so!).

We can, but im not confident on the dogs at etihad. We would have to be at our best, and play four quarters.

And so we should. I'm a lot more confident than I would have been last year. It's a 50/50 game to me. We know our style plays well on the Dome, so I'm actually looking forward to that game. Which I predict not many people would have thought prior to us playing games this year.

Will cop some flak but in the wet... Danger game.
We come up against one of the best nullifying teams in recent years. In the wet, anything can happen. I still expect us to win but I think we could be in for a very frustrating game. Weather report this morning for the weekend coming didn't sound too dire though, so I'm hoping we give them jolly good 5-8goal belting.

Dogs are running out of backline players and are very young.
Crows backline, midfield and certainly forward line options appear to be better. You would think The Crows forward pressure would overwhelm them but who knows. With their best lineup it would be a tight game. The Crows do play Etihad very well.
We should beat Freo by plenty, question is, will we.....?

Freo are having the season from hell, but we can't underestimate them. We need to come out breathing fire and put them to the sword early and maintain it for 4 quarters.

Except 2016 Freo are not 2013-15 Freo, are missing 8 of their first 22 and just lost to Carlton at home.

I wouldn't worry about the weather too much, most of the rain predicated lately has not eventuated or passed above us. Even if it does rain the amount they think we might get won't affect the game much. I will be surprised if they get within 6 goals of us.

I love the way we are playing, with the quick ball movement, however a wet day will make this difficult. Those slick handballs will be much harder to achieve. Do we have a plan B?
So I consider this a danger game if the forecast is correct.
Heard at lunch that the forecast is for rain later in the afternoon or into the evening
But I think the way we play will hold up in the wet...look at the Sydney game for evidence of that. Was dewy and an awesome contested footy type game.
I just fear Freo will revert to last years tactics but even then without Fyfe and Johnson will be tough for them

Can't say that...If we win by 3 goals and Freo play a good brand of football then I will be happy. If Freo are as crap as they were against Carlton and we only win by 3 then yes we won't be happy

Says our D isn't good enough, which we all know and puts us in the same category as North Melbourne and Melbourne.

Sydney, GWS and GC only 3 teams in the Premiership Standard window, with 15 of the last 16 Premiers having ended up in that window.

Squiggle is way more fun to watch than this graph. OutofTownCrow had an interesting point about the champion data standard in that with this year being more attacking for every team, then shouldn't the scores be adjusted accordingly in respect to that? If that happens then it means that us and North are the two teams in the premiership window.
