I would consider that a huge positive. I don’t know if there’s any truth to it but it’s often argued that VHS (over Betamax) and Bluray (over HD-DVD) won their respective technology battles on the back of adoption by the pr0n industry. If Verge becomes the go to payment option for pr0n (likely on the back of its privacy features) then that’s a huge market and would surely rocket it to the top few cryptos.

You're jerking my chain.

I just found this.

https://www.vdice.io/

Ether slots, dice and no doubt many other gambling d'apps, all run through smart contracts so the odds are known to the decimal and it's paid out instantly. Gamble straight from Metamask.

****ing hilarious.

surprised by the verge downfall, but those in the real know of crypto ville were slamming verge before the announcement, something aint right with verge

It's a lot more than something not being right. It's a doge coin fork for crying out loud. On top of that, they got the community to donate millions of dollars worth of verge to them, just cos. It's as scammy as it gets. Not one I will ever touch.

you say that but every time I check on walty its in the red
Circulating supply went up 24% over the last week and its still up over 15% for the week. Don't worry about WTC, I'd be more concerned with investing in CC designed to be currency. IoT is a much more practical and usable application given the vested interest in the american dollar.

Anyone on BAT?

Could be the type of tech that gets around the new data protection laws in EU putting significant restrictions on companies collection of personal information. These data protection laws affect ALL companies globally, not just those incorporated in the EU, so long as the companies are dealing with the data of EU citizens. Based on my understanding of BAT and Brave, it doesn't accumulate data of its users per se. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

And also they partnered with Dow Jones Media Group, which explains it's massive hike. Just the type of news I've been waiting for!

They're claiming to be solving advertising problems so if they're claiming to also be solving data protection problems it would make sense as that's linked to advertising.

Great if you picked some up 2-3 weeks
ago. I remember shilling it not long ago when it was 25c Aussie. Doubled now nearly.

I'm starting to think it's all up from here.

It's feels like a calculated rise, whales buying slowly and in smaller amounts, accumulating.

360b.

Almost out of the channel that weve been hovering in for the last month or so. Wont be convinced until we break 400b and stay above that. Either way i invested the last of my available cashola in March when we hit 254b so apart from shuffling a few cryptos around im just watching as a long term investor.

ANyone know whats caused XRP to jump today?

Alt Szn !! :D

You have a few options, IMO.

1. Cut losses and run (70% is better than 80%, after all)
2. Back bitcoin's partial recovery and projects that are tied to it (Litecoin, Dash etc)
3. Reassign your current portfolio into projects that can potentially hold their own even if Bitcoin tanks (FUN, Power Ledger, Eth etc)

A bull market like we just saw will NOT happen again. Too many were burned.
Look at these market caps and realise how overvalued/invested they still are.
Tron at $16bn **** me.
Who else thinks this will be the worst post of the year ?? Maybe we could have an award that goes out on December 31st. Telling someone to sell the absolute bottom and get out surely has to be a yuuuuuuge contender !!
