Walton up 9% against BTC last 24 hours. Solid move. Have had some strong announcements recently, silencing the FUD campaign of some campaigners.

Right on Duritz!

Speaking at the IoT conference in Suzhou with Microsoft China, Alibaba Cloud, Qualcomm and Huawei and actual real partnerships are driving this up.

To everyone else that is half interested, visit the WTC reddit page and take a look for yourself at what has happened and what is coming up. A bit more than a 'hard fork' or some 'node event'. If you didn't get any sub 14$ aus WTC then you missed out, I doubt we see that ever again, unless the whole market dumps ridic.

Let’s hope that this is the start of a nice run.

Are people still Long term holders? Looking to cash out when back at even?
long term holder for sure. Most of these cryptos are still in development stages without a working product being available for use. In 2 years time who knows how close we will be to mainstream adoption but for sure the current valuations will be higher for many of the promising projects. Still think that 95% of the ones outside the top 50 will just drop off the face of the planet, but the other 5% left standing will be solid investments for years to come.

When you think about why Satoshi invented Bitcoin just after the GFC, and the possibility of banks making the same mistakes again, I can envisage a time where money floods into crypto as a safe storage.

long term, my opinion those getting in now or within the last 6 months should be investing with the idea of holding for a couple of years

Good rational investment (economic) thinking would ignore any sunk costs(or in this case, the original price) of an investment. It is a stupid strategy if you think your investment is going down the drain and you still invest more and more time/money into it because you don't want to write down a loss.

The decision to sell/buy should be based on one thing. That is what YOU expect to happen in x time. It should not be on what you bought it for or anything related to that matter. But none of us are rational thinkers

ps Just because you don't agree with his rationale, doesn't make his thinking the worst of all time. You don't have a clue what the bottom is. you are looking at a graph and making a guesstimate. People on this thread have been calling people to buy "because it is at the bottom" for the last 2 months. You can try and predict the future but well, good luck.

I never said his thinking was the worst of all time. Everyone has their strategies. People haven't agreed with all of mine either and I don't expect them to.

You may have misinterpreted part of my post or I wasn't overly clear with it.

For all those who held during the tough times - you deserve this. No market can pump like crypto when it wants to run!

I’m very happy I had the mental fortitude to buy more when the market was 250-300b and the sentiment was at its worst.

Geez 416b marketcap now. Sea of green for several days. Bitcoin losing dominance to the alts. The signs are starting to point towards a bull run.

Did a rough calculation on my blockpolio last night and still down badly but the gap is closing.

Could we have another May run like last year? I thought it was too predictable but its showing signs.

Same.
I invested more at 350 and again at 250. Those 2 deposits are starting to balance out the losses from when I invested around the 620b mark. Just gotta be patient.

In time, people will work out the shit from clay as they are starting to do now. Good to watch it all unfold, make some mistakes, a little money hopefully and come out wiser the other end.

I actually want the markets to come back down for a few more months of investing, got a feeling it wont be slowing down just yet
That sideways accumulation period didn't last long at all. Some are still screaming bull trap again. Possible. Sentiment has shifted markedly though. If it comes back down, it won't be to go into another accumulation period. It will be to new lows.

Still holding my ripple. Bought a nice chunk @.61c a couple weeks ago. Almost doubled up on it with this run. Compensates somewhat for the other chunk I bought @ ATH. Will continue to hodl & evaluate in a few years.

Yeah it’s possible. We did have a decent bear market though - one of the biggest drops ever.

Some huge news coming out recently, the fundamentals are there.

- Power Ledger partnering with Japan’s largest private energy company.
- NASA researching Ethereum to communicate in space.
- Barclays talking to investors about crypto.
- Circle increasing max buys from $250b to $500b on the back of positive market appraisal.
- Amazon’s AWS now offering blockchain services.
- More big money entering the space: Soros etc.

There will be another bull run. Not sure if this is it, but it’s coming.

dude no-one gives a shit about your opinion. Where were you during the bull run last year? Nowhere to be seen. Then the market undergoes a massive correction you come in here as a hindsight hero preaching like some bloody expert. Your know-it-all schtick is really old and the only contribution youve given to this thread is "I told you so". Yeah great mate.

Was way too busy making money on vapourware like the rest of you.

Truthfully, I have a number of ASX and crypto TA and day trading groups I usually communicate in. Didn't cross my mine a footy board would have a forum :)
