with all the updates is this now worth getting?
have all the bugs been fixed?

I played it months ago when the PS5 version dropped and I had no problems at all. With the latest patches since then, it would be an even more stable experience.

I put in ~100 hours on a recent playthrough and had 1 crash. The game is as stable as it is going to get, IMO.

If its on any sort of sale, 100% worth the pick up on next gen.
I'm around 25 hours in, no crashes, only one bug where the target at the end of a quest was just standing there with his back towards me, despite me just running and gunnning through his goons, so it was an easy miniboss fight.

bought it for $35 on PS store. so far so good, only crashed once. really enjoying it.

Geez there are some ****ed up side missions in this, they're really well done though.

Just finished the River questline with the guy abducting boys and keeping them hooked up to cattle drug machines, jesus :drunk:
Where do you pick up this mission??

Just gotta keep doing the River Ward side jobs (the cop who you first meet in connection to the mayor election stuff, so you need to do a bit of the Peralez's stuff first, she'll call you to kick it off once you've done a certain number of main missions I think).

Once you complete the mayor investigation stuff with River he'll call you a day later or something and ask for help with something else, just keep doing those missions.

At the point of no return now so just cleaning up side jobs and gigs and deciding if I want to go for the plat, probably won't (trophies like shooting a grenade out of mid air just sound painful).

Weird game - so triple A in some areas (quests, aesthetic, city design), so underwhelming in others (inventory management, police behavior, hilarious driving physics). Having a blast despite the cons, going a kind of hybrid ninja/netrunner build using blades/knives, pretty much no guns at all and it plays great. And it hasn't crashed once since the last update. A real shame they weren't able to get the game in this shape on release.

Will definitely get the DLC when it comes out.

As soon as this came out I completed everything to the best I possibly could but there were a few bugged side missions. Never went back to them but did they ever get patched? Despite all the lag and the 100 times the game crashed, I rate the game and really enjoyed it

Believe its all kosher now. I've still got 1 or 2 side jobs remaining re: the Johnny/Rogue stuff but think I've completed everything else, no issues for me (PS5).

Wow. Bit surprised, after all the problems Cyberpunk has caused them I assumed they'd just go one and done and focus on a relatively safer bet in The Witcher.

Great news though, surely they'll be a bit more careful with the state of the game on release this time.

They're doubling down on what they already have with 3 new Witcher games, another Cyberpunk and a whole new IP. Some are being out sourced.

I'm optimistic in that they will learn from previous mistakes and build on what they have.
