Absolute STAR. Like Buddy, he's just one of those players who as soon as you see enter the play, your heart starts pumping in antcipation of something brillant happening. He'll win it.

His a fantastic player. Would love to see him win the Rising Star, and I'm pretty sure he will win it.

It's going to be a tough call between Rioli and Palmer. Kruezer has been very good, along with a few others but I think everyone would agree that Palmer and Rioli have had stella seasons and both would be deserving winners.
Maybe I am biased, but I would agree that Rioli should win. To play the role he has this year in the second top side, plus the skills he has displayed makes my mouth water to think of the way he will crumb Roughy and Buddy going forwards.
Palmer is a ball magnet, no argument. But I'm not so sure he always uses it the best. After seeing what I have of Rioli, he wins contensted ball, he chases and tackles better than I have seen anyone in a brown and gold jumper, and most importantly he has complemented the Hawks forward line so well this year that he has been a key ingedient in our ladder position.

The boy is an excitement machine. He is like a young James Hird ... with some extra pace and a vice-like grip.
As good as our team is, only Franklin, Williams, Rioli and Hodge qualify for freak status.
If you want to count anyone else in our senior side as a freak, there are an awful lot of freaks running around in the AFL who are just as good as most of our list.

its a close call between plamer and junior boy, either way (or even if another suprise gets up) I am looking forward to seeing him weave his magic for the next 10 years. In 1 year he has produced some great momements and lets see what he can do in the next month

This kid is amazing. He played another fantastic game tonight. His disposals are 10 times better than Clanger Palmer.
well Shehan rates Cryil higher then Palmer, but Bicks went on record saying Palmer is the bets young player... its all about the judges im afraid...
just hope their isnt anyone from freo, haha

At the end of the day who really cares if he wins or not, it doesn't make him any less of a player.

I live with a recruiter for the dockers, and even he thinks Cyril will win it. (Not that he cares, because they've got a gun in their midst).

I do, and like to think other Hawks fans aswell, Cyril deserves the award so why not award him it
Freak, does things on the footy field that not many others can do.. So silky, some of the things he did tonight were beyond belief things that I have not seen many others do on the footy field before, we have got a very special player on our hands here!
