Just get one of your thugs to KO number 20 (long blond locks) and the games is yours.

Wasn't necesassary last time. Aquinas have a massive task to turn around 105 points i would have thought.

Am looking forward to the big trip away tomorrow at Aquinas. Last night was one of the best training nights we've had for a while. Really looking forward to see how it translates to the game. This is a game we must win if we are to play finals. Good luck to our boys.

WEST, you will play finals, my question is how was training last thursday ?

i would have liked to see training be one of the best prior to a big game, not a good training night prior to a game that you will win with 15 running around.

Good luck.

The season is a long one (considering pre season etc.)and things get a bit stale in the midst of winter and 9 games played. Sometimes you need a freshen up. That's what happens when new blood is introduced into the side, and putting it on certain players to lift.
Now that we have seen everybody once we can focus more precisely on each side.

Weeks results!

Aquinas V Werribee - werribee by 36points
NOBSPC V SMD - NOBSPC by 25 points - coming togethor?
Prahran V Whitefriars - friars by 55 points - will get promoted with Rupo
Rupertswood V ESL - rupo by 86 points
Old Mentone V Fitzroy - fitzory by 27 points - mentone are no good

Any truth in the rumour that all Fitzroy players will be wearing one glove on Saturday by way of paying their respects to the King of Pop...?

One Man Band why the hell are you going to Westbourne? Who's upset you this time? Have they offered you the Coach's job? What are you doing?

I feel tomorrow is a danger game for the Rupppo boys. I'm with Jack, St Leos have plenty of talent. Do we come in focussed and prepared after last weeks high. Will St Leos lift as we have often seen against us.

My gut feel is not alot will change, the coaching staff have set expectations no matter what. The players have been and should be committed to these standards. Ruppppo by 22pts, nowhere near other posters predictions.

As i said right along NOBS are pretty handy, good luck to a certain level to Terry and the boys.

Drifter seems like a dead set reasonable bloke. We have played 38 blokes so far in the seniors, watch out if our best 22 finally get on the park.

According to sources the secret weapon to Trent Wiltshire(old mentonians) stellar season is frozen bread.
Also I would like to wish my good friend Tim 'britney' Spears all the best for the rest of the year on/off the feild.

just on that note. i would like to wish the old mentonians a good night unfortunetly i will not be able to come down and play my famous covers as i have two other clubs to attend to tonight..
but you never know i might show up to the after party so keep ya girls close

Ruppppo had a solid win against the Emmaus boys at home. I suppose i thought it would be closer and a 90 odd point win seems alot, i maybe underestimating our overall talent a bit. We are going pretty good as of tonight. You can only enjoy the now, and the now is pretty good!!!!

Whitefriars had a tough win against Prahan, they never stopped coming and it was a good solid hitout for the Friars

Whilst both teams played well, the men in white were well below average, possibly one of the worst performances I have ever seen, when the whistle blew you never knew what they were going to pay

Werribee had a good win against Aquinas.

Was tight for 3 quarters, fairly scrappy game. Werribee undisciplined at times and gave some silly free kicks in front of goal, and a drastic display of over umpiring. Umpires were a disgrace today for both sides, however Aquinas got a couple of cheapies that kept them close for 3qtrs.

Werribee just had more run in the legs after Aquinas had thrown the kitchen sink at them for 3 qtrs, and had nothing left.

What a great month for the mighty NOBS! Terry really has the boys back on track for a tilt at the premiership! Great work Tezza...could be shaping for his first finals win in 27 years!

SMD...in disarray! Sacking their coach obviously work a treat last year.

D2 beckons boys!

Go the mighty Terry Scanlon!

KB, notice the Rupo boys are having a cross dressing night tonight. Will you be frocking up ??

Couldn't quite get anything to suit my fashion sense. Did drop down for a look and no wonder we are quick, the boys have legs that would pass on any catwalk. There's an old saying when it comes to me and you frocking up "i'd like to see that" i'm sure you'd come up a treat great man with another rendition of "dirty deeds done dirt cheap" that would send the crowd in a spin. Scotty Bradley leads in the fashion stakes at the moment, with Bish looking ready for marriage, and Disco with the best pair of breasts i have ever seen. The fridge is Inga from Sweden and brother Leeroy is just entering college, gags looks tarty in pink and bangers looks like a cross between superwoman and wonder women.

generally the umpires do a good job. and i dont want to turn this into an umpire bashing thread (which i probably have now done) but yesterdays game was some of the worst umpiring i have ever seen.

had no idea what way the free kicks were going to go when they blew the whistle. those two umps were power hungry and whistle happy. then one of the umpires had the gall to threaten to put a complaint in against werribee.

one of the umpires even told our goal umpire to "take his job more seriously" !!! absolute joke

the VAFA needs to start holding these umpires accountable
