Anyone else finding Duncan Palmer's rants at the begginning of the round review annoying?

Also Duncan ... if you don't get a report make something up!

Also why would he pick Kew vs BHN at match of the round? BHN will get smashed!!

Its not so bad. BHN could give Kew a run for their money.
 
Can anyone from WB give me an update on Tom Dempsey? Played all through juniors with him back in country Vic, saw he played round 1 but hasn't been sighted since? Injury? Cheers.

With most games blowouts tomorrow it will be a pointer to where some teams are at, and the launch towards a high postion on the ladder.
Syndal might be able to push RC if they are taken lightly. Centrals by 5 goals.
Mt Lilydale will take the points over the Cobras, with a guide to how much improvement Bulleen are showing. Mt Lilydale's key position guns the difference. Shoot for 53 points.
SFX could blow SM away and I think they might by about 12 goals. Falcons at NB should be a decisive win to the AP boys if they are to get back on track. Tighter then what most might think, 15 points the margin. WB in some drier conditions will chalk another big win by about 14 goals. Brownlow Bill Irving to continue on his mery way.
Kew to roll along and defeat Box Hill by about 12 goals.
 
North Brunswick to get the first win on the board by 6 points.
Richmond Centrals over Syndal - 7 goals.
West Brunswick to beat Eley Park - 65 points.
MT lIlydale by 4 goals over Bulleen.
SFX to sneak past Sth Mornington - but only by a couple of goals.
Kew to beat Box Hill. +39.5.

I hope you do get off the mark OZ. Syndal beat us in both seniors and reserves last year at Jordan Reserve so we won't be taking them lightly...

D4 has gotten stronger and stronger... There used to be a few thrashable sides each season (Richmond being one of them most years), but there isn't an easy game these days (for the majority of sides anyway).

Kew's twos will win by 100 points... The seniors, if its raining? Who knows.

And Penny alone was just about enough to beat us... He'd still be having nightmares about that last kick on the siren! I know I am, and we won...

Wouldn't be too convinced about Kew's 2's thrashing BHN's 2's Waz. BHN are very string in the scoobs. They have all these (I'll diplomatically say..) strong bodied types that are very clever and suited to two's footy.

Kew will win the 1's...but I think it will be a close two's game.

Our two's will flog AP tomorrow! Strong tip!

Nah not a strong scoobs team tomorrow Pan, just giving the twos' boys some props. They always give a good account of themselves - are usually hard to beat and I expect them to come back with a win after a couple of losses.

**Plus you never do know when you could end up back there so its always good to show some support!!!

Kew's ressies made the GF in D3 last year I believe... Strong tip....Mind you... They got pumped by WB's ressies.

No rants next week , but dont think you will be spared for the rest of the season- i had great feedback from the previous week and maybe got a little carried away,but hopefully someone got a smile- i had very little news come in , and yes i could make it up but if i have not had at least one report from a club for the year it is difficult, not to mention one report only for the year from three other clubs. I will stand by my match of the round- though Mt Lilydale V Bulleen would have been a close second. Great work on the show Scribe & Harper

Unfortunately the recent results (lost last 2 to Sharks & Snakes) show how our ressies are struggling at the moment.

With quite a spate of injuries and unavailabilities in the ones, the twos have been pillaged of their quality players.
Great for these younger lads to get a crack at Senior footy but it is always the ressies that suffer when players are missing.

As players (hopefully) come back in over the next 3 weeks, the BH ressies will again become a good 2s team.
