The centre square has always been aligned with the goals. I was surprised that you made this comment as you would have only be looking at Mt Lilydale's end goal end for the vast majority of the game !!!!!

Its not that the square is out of alignment, its that the goals dont face each other... they were at angles when we played there last year... Like a banana!

Big Waz, it's all about strategy....
1> visting clubs have to leave home in the dark and arrive home the same
2> travel sickness
2> must adjust to the "high altitude" conditions
3> wind, rain & snow
4> low flying planes from Yarra Glen airport
5> playing in centre sqr that is not located centre of ground, just adds to the confusion......:confused:

plus dealing with the goats !!!!!!!!!!!

Er.... No.......

Best in D4..... Maybe Eley Park?

I've never been to eley parks rooms... so can't judge.... But richmonds are at least in the middle of the pack.

The best rooms from last season were (that I went into)

UHS - huge
Eltham - new
Albert Park - not too shabby

The worst

St Mary's - average all round
NB - change rooms are tiny
South Morn - tiny old change rooms, good social rooms.

Everyone else is pretty much the same.

mate we lost by 7 points, if u remember correctly and i promise that day the centre square was in square on to the goal at the far end

This is true! Mt Lilydale struggled all day to put half decent footy together before copping an absolute barreling from the coach and eventually getting our arses into gear and coming from behind to snatch a lucky win over a tiring Cobra's side.

Waz, when is the game? It'll be a good gauge of where you are at playing a D3 club.

It will also give the rest of us a good idea about the quality of West Brunny and Kew.

29th of March. Yeah... we figure they'll be about the same standard as the two relegated sides. Should be good fun.

I've heard that former Old Westbourne (and a few other clubs) player Damian Truslove is playing/assistant coaching at BC's this year. Can anyone confirm?

Monash won the same number of games last year, 6-7 and only survived by 5-10% ahead of WB so both sides were very close. I think 1-1 during the season too.

Kew were beaten 4 times by WB and Monash so they are probably a bit behind unless they've recruited well
