You've got to be kidding!

West Bruns are obviously suffering from injuries to players.
Remember, if the 20th, 21st and 22nd best players go out of your seniors you then get players 22, 23 and 24. The ressies lose their number 1, 2 and 3 players from the same deal.
So natural that a teams ressies can quickly be without key personal.

:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

I have not seen AP since rd 1 so can't make a fair assessment of them, but I still have my money on WB for the senior flag.

after playing both sfx and kew ressie side,i found the sfx a much better side. but wb ressie are still the one to beat

And don't I know that! Does make it tough, but a good test of depth which I am sure they will get back from!!

It certainly does test your depth. We played a game about a month ago where we had 7 missing from our seniors from the week before. You take take the next 7 from your 2's and suddenly both sides have a totally different look about them. Both teams were beaten soundly.

It matters which 7 are missing too. Losing 4 talls in the ones can make your twos very short.

Since were talking about team of the year and top ten's interested in who people think are each team's best now the year's nearly over (thinking back to the players to watch post)

WB-Irving
AP-Dallas
Kew-Horne/O'Connell
EP-Viola
MTL-Rhodes
RC-Nuske/Camilleri
BC-Cookson
STH-Richardson/George
SFX-Russo
NB-Pizari
SM-Price
BHN-Penny
(obviously only on what i have seen and been told this year)

Always interesting to see how outsiders rate people differently to those from the club.

BHN - Shaun Irvine, will win our B&F (for the 2nd time) and will poll very well in the league.

So with one round to go, the finals positions are still up in the air. All the teams have something to play for this weekend except WB, who won't play another meaningful game for over two weeks.

If ML win they get the double chance, but if Kew lose they will have to play ML for a second straight week after losing the first time. Not good!

If Kew win then SFX and AP are still in the hunt for 3rd spot. AP may rest players, thinking that SFX should beat out SM regardless of the Kew/ML result. Of course, an AP win puts them ahead of ML on the ladder and would at least give them the dark shorts in finals round 1!

That said...

Sydnal will beat NB comfortably and get off the bottom of the ladder by the skin of their teeth.
South Mornington wont have the strength to hold off SFX
Bulleen and BHN should have a big bash, with Bulleen likely to upset the struggling BHN seniors.
RC by 1 point
Kew will get past ML to avoid a nasty underdog rematch in the finals.
AP and EP could produce a draw, depending on whether AP are at full strength of course.

Trying to get into their heads before the big clash, Big Waz?

Kew will beat Mt L. Too much at stake if they lose, and will carry that momentum into the GF. I'm not sure who that will be against just yet though...

Not sure there Waz.
06 BHN smashed Powere House in rd 18 by 12 goals odd.
Next week PH scrapped through against BHN by 8 pts.
PH went on to clobber Eltham and Hawthorn by 10 goals plus in Prelim and GF.
Sure PH thought it was ok in the end.

Congrats to NBrunny, got up by 3 points over us today.
Not going to rant but the umpire from today needs to have a good long look at himself, if he wasn't cheating (and i dont think he was) he definatley should not be allowed to umpire again, we have now had two VERY contraversial results against North. Good luck to all in the finals.

Stop making excuses we have been on the wrong end of both field and goal umpiring decisions all year, to blame the umpire who was on his own is a cop out. We are playing D4 what do you expect ?
